There's a difference between doing sequels and guaranteeing sequels. These days, just about any blockbuster is guaranteed to franchise.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Yeah, outside of horror films (Where The Stinger usually acted also as a final scare), Sequel Hooks were FAR rarer than nowadays in the era of "Marvel Teases next film in the credits and everyone else starts doing it."
Even before the MCU picked up and made straight-up franchising the In thing, Two-Part Trilogy became really popular around the turn of the century.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Honestly, I like to hear stories like that. It's like with how Raul Julia to the role of M. Bison because his kids loved the games.
Didn't he let his grandson pick the script out?

Worldbuilding is fun, writing is a choreObviously Darude- Sandstorm. ...Wait. Dammit.
It's been 3000 years…They call it the best Pixar movie and in their overall top 10.
It shows. Very low sin count for this one.
Certainly low when you take into account the current average length/sin count of the films he does. And I agree with most of the sins, anyway.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"That remark about the plate/table is clearly incorrect, though. Bob drives the knife deep into the table, hence why he says he'll have to fix it.
Also, Mirage didn't recognise Bob outside his outfit. She was initially trailing Frozone, and only realised Bob was Mr. Incredible after she saw him use his powers in the burning building.

I was somewhat disappointed with the "WHERE IS MY SUPER SUIT" scene not being included, because that makes me laugh every time. Dash's sin reduction was just awesomely done.
As most reductions are.

Was expecting A Serbian Film references in comments. Was disappoint.
Doesn't the very first sin refer more to the Harry Potter series than to Twilight?
The real movie to sin is Kill Bill. Which at the time wasn't advertised as a 2 part movie.
Harry Potter was the first film to the do the "split the last book in two", but Twilight confirmed it as a trend.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Yeah, and it was the first split that didn't really need to be split in the first place, as Jeremy kept pointing out with all the padding.
Though arguably Harry Potter might have not needed it if the filmmakers had been more careful about keeping stuff in, but that's a discussion for another thread.
I was also wondering how the Incredibles themselves are supposed to withstand some of the stuff that their suits are proof against. I know Helen was able to do live by tucking herself in, but still.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Torsion fields.
but HOW?I REALLY can't be the only guy that thinks of A Serbian Film whenever Jacob's imprinting on Renesmee is brought up.
You're probably not the only one, but most don't want to mention that film in the first place.
The thing that baffles me the most about that confrontation at the end: Vampires in Twilight can be killed with bullets. Carlisle Cullen is a million/billionaire. Many different types of weapon, including miniguns, are legal for purchase in the United States.

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!
Mate, Hollywood's been doing sequels since time immemoriam. The reason Disney doesn't do many sequels is that Walt did a few sequels to a well-received short, and they didn't become as popular.
Or must I remind you of the Rocky films, every slasher franchise, the fact that Robocop has two sequels... They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!
