Why wouldn't Nanana be neutral towards the Adventure Club? They aren't forced to be there, if they don't like the risk of going after the treasures they can simply quit the club.
She and her friends didn't have a clue about the traps they would find either.
Don't tell that to me. That's not my opinion.
Though I do admit that Double Standard: Abuse, Female on Male always rubbed me the wrong way.

It doesn't help that Nana is literally untouchable.
Check out my fanfiction!Just watched the new episode, and dang things are getting interesting. Also a surprisingly good, if short, fight scene.
Okay, um, this episode, wow.
First, I thought our protagonist was going full Kamijou Touma on the Club President, even though he was mocking and looking down on someone else's ideals instead of preaching. But then, he didn't punch him because he realized his own hypocrisy, having thrown aside his own dreams long ago. Then, our Hero is revealed to be an Anti-Hero. Or an Anti-Villain. Or just a Villain.
Intriguing, if downright confusing, episode.

Oh God this episode.
This is pretty much turning into the best show of the season.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntYeah, so what we have here is a whole lot of people who seem more than what they are at first glance. Juugo being the ex-heir of Matsuri for one. Have to wonder about Nanana's ex-roomie though — if she learned (through one of the treasures) that if she did find Nanana's murderer, she'd get herself killed, how can she be sure that the NEXT guy in line (in this case Juugo) won't have this happen to him instead? Or does this tie in with what Juugo's dad said in his phonecall, that he'd be able to give something of himself away when that time comes?
Things went in an interesting direction. Good, good
On an unrelated note, does anyone know when the OP single is due out?
Episode 4. In which there are betrayals.
"Who notices small details like that?" Well, I can name one awesome person.
Well, that's a twist. Possibly.
You know, he manages to be less convincing than a little lavender-haired girl saying that.
"Even now, I never miss a day of training." Well, I suppose that answers that question.
That's an awesome laugh. Can't help but laugh with her.
That cane clipped through her side when he walked past. Tsk.
Did anyone actually expect Tensai to not know about his plan?
Is that Rikiya Koyama as his father? I've heard his voice in a few places recently. I like the accent.
And I must say, what he says sounds rather reasonable, if harsh. I hope that's a set-up for an actual pairing.
Spelunker HD, with an accurate copyright blurb. Well, I'm not sure about the year, since I don't own the game, but still. Though I'm pretty sure it's not a Famicom game. Not that version, at least.
Heh. It was actually a fake. That's pretty funny.
I wonder, is there anyone who's not a frenemy with at least a few other people?
Check out my fanfiction!I've been finding this show intriguingly quirky, and after this episode I just don't know what to make of it. I like the subversion of the bland, all-relatable protagonist, but I'm confused by what he is now. That exchange between him and the president reminded me of Fate/zero, which has a lot of good ideas but some clumsy storytelling. Also, no helicopter can hover at that angle.
My biggest problem here is the very common one of giving fanservice while trying to look ashamed about it. At least the most prudish girl happens to be a boy.
A blog that gets updated on a geological timescale.I get the impression we're not really supposed to be all that clear about what he thinks and who he is at this point. And especially not what's going on in the shadows.
Not sure what you mean with, "... giving fanservice while trying to look ashamed about it."
Check out my fanfiction!Treasure 4:
- World conquest: A foolish dream indeed, but one people will gladly die for. Well, at least he and Juugo patched things up...somewhat. Future backstab when?
- There's no stopping the genius that is Tensai. And buh-wha, she's related to the guy Yuiga was supposed to make a brainwashing deal with?
- And Juugo isn't a normal guy either, since is a master thief! Or...used to be. So, he left because he hated being a goody-two shoes? Heh, pops gave him quite a reasonable scolding. I think? Dang, Juugo, you have a hidden heart of jerk, huh?
- ...Actually, no wonder the class rep found him scary...
- Tensai has found her fated rival! Now, the curtains shall rise on a duel that shall echo forever within the Hall of Legends! But that's for another time.
- Yep, Nanana's totally neutral, compared to everyone's alignments.
Episode 5. In which there's a pause.
The way to her heart is through her stomach. And he's met a worthy challenger.
Never been a fan of that kind of outfit.
Playing games doesn't really take that much electricity. Can't be much worse than my computers.
I prefer her normal look. Though that one really makes her eyes stand out.
Why hold a briefcase like that? Just looks awkward.
Devil girl has interesting eyes as well.
So that's what it was. No room for misunderstandings, nuh, uh.
Check out my fanfiction!Isn't the island artificial? How does an artificial island have a hotspring? Pretty sure every anime is required to have either a hotspring or a bath by law, so whatever.
Tensai really helps this show. If it isn't obvious.
I really don't get this thing with his family. Unless it's just supposed to be one of those teenage rebellion things. Or just necessary for the plot.
Actually, it does look good on her. Go figure.
I bet the cake shows up again.
Yun looks a lot like Tensai, for some reason. Must be the eyes. And did I mention that Tensai's name sounds a lot like an alias (her full name means "first-rate genius")?
Juugo's totally gonna sell the games.
The cake is a lie.

Bah, here I was trying to think of a less obvious way of saying that, and you come right out and say it.
Also- what's the point of being all shady and secretive about it if you're just buying flour?
The usual joke about things like this is flour looks exactly like cocaine at first glance, plus it's supposed to be high-grade flour whose maker isn't enthusiastic in selling — which means what Juugo is carrying is stolen goods. Irony, huh?
I think the bigger question is, much like in Academy City, why does Nanaejima even have a lawless district? Seems like a bad case of lack of oversight to me.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was designed that way.
Check out my fanfiction! The entire place is designed as a place for people to have adventures on. Of course it has a sady district.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntTreasure 5:
- That was quite the scrumptious dinner. Different tastes indeed.
- Don't you see, Juugo? There is great joy to be had in helping others. And he's telling me to take my preaching somewhere else.
- Gaming party. And this is totally gonna come straight out of Juugo's wallet.
- Juugo's heart must break a little every time Nanana says "I died".
- Nice wig, Tensai.
- Lawless district! Can't be an island of adventure without one.
- Well, that Yuu girl has Tensai's eyes. Or at least the color. Actually thought they were related.
- Boss Sister doesn't pull any punches. Makes her teasing more effective.
- High grade flour, I take it? That means the cake must be really good. It'll probably take you to heights you never dreamed of.
- ...Bad End?
No, if you pay attention to Episode 3, Tensai's name may SOUND like 'genius', but it's in fact written as 'natural disaster'. So she's (in name only) a Person of Mass Destruction
Same as usual.... Wing it.There's a fine line between a genius and a madman...
Check out my fanfiction!By the way, as to Tensai electing to use twintails for her disguise... Apparently one of the cut scenes (while they were waiting on the treasure box), was Tensai asking Juugo about random stuff — like what his favorite hairstyle on girls was. Juugo apparently answered that, yes, he liked twintails.
Believe me, she's far, faaaar better than a lot of things we've seen. Plus she's dead, so cut her some slack.
Same as usual.... Wing it.
