Yeah Claudia is the first one to seem like a legendary hero so far.
Yay, Red is back!
Is liking Toru an inherit Chaika trait?
Now would be a great time to iron blood guys.
There ya go.
So much for getting rid of pain, eh?
Intrigue, whoo.
Vivi, you need a purple shirt, white is already taken.
Ah so using the remains is what brought misfortune upon the others. Makes sense.
Claudia knows not to lose her way...
Calling it now, the fortune is gonna have all his magic spells, but most importantly be a Chaika depository.

I bet the fortune also has Guy.
Is it just me, or does Red Chaika-Speak more than she used to? I wonder if it's a progressive thing and white has just been around longer. I'm hoping for a teamup with Red anyway(and the preview seemed to hint at it).
lol I just finished the first ep last night (on my way home). Would have been better if they made half-Chaika have a very visible "vertical halving". LOL
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.2nd Avenging:
- Claudia was so gonna turn them into paste. But then a cat was passing through. Way to lose, Claudia.
- Well, whatever. Claudia's the best hero, and I shall brook no objections.
- Glen. A hero. Archer class. That's all I'll get out of him. Except maybe perhaps he, too, didn't use the remains, preferring to live humbly afterwards.
- Vivi's up and ready to roll once more.
- So everyone within Castle Gaz's walls were to be exterminated. Well, that explains why (the real, perhaps?)Chaika lost her head.
- Remains or the truth? Yeah, learning what Gaz's deal is first sounds better. Crash course for Gaz's Fortune! Their reunion with Chaika Red will be explosive, I bet.
Hmm. Claudia says that she didn't lose her way because she found something else to do with her life- which, to be fair, does fit thematically- but I can't help but wonder if it didn't have to do with the fact that she didn't use the remains.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Currently I'm the most curious about how Vivi will turn out. And her fortune cookie. Secondary curiosity is what has been from the beinning: Who and what is Chaika?
I actually rewatched the entire series (had a visitor who wanted to watch it), and then I claimed Chaika was a zombie. May or may not turn out to be true.
Check out my fanfiction!Vivi also has the neck scar. Neat detail.
Action was great as usual. Also the way Fredrica helped out is adorable.
That's possible. But the first hero Chaika fought seemed okay, even if he was a jerkass. The archer seemed fine too, though who knows if he was using the remains.
Vivi might end up trying to use her father's corpse to revive Gilette.
As for the zombie theory, it's very possible. It does seem like some shady guys are attaching Chaika heads to bodies after all.
About Gilette's death: Go back to the scene where he got laser'd. In the closeup on him right before he gets hit, there are two of Guy right behind him. I feel his death is rather suspect.
Should've checked the list.I think the question that the Chaika's worry about being the true one is something will ultimately be worthless, since I suspect they are all derivatives.
But of course; Never Found the Body was in full force.
As I mentioned, Vivi's fortune cookie is what hammers it down for me. "It is your unchanging love that will save your loved one." She can't save him if he's dead.

Check out my fanfiction!Can't she?
Well, it depends on how resurrections are seen in this anime, and it looks like it leans towards that being something bad, but then again it is a somewhat morally questionable series in the first place, if we consider our heroes, so it's a fair point. So he can still be Only Mostly Dead.
Check out my fanfiction!Err, I thought it was obvious that he wasnä't dead? Didn't we see him talking to Guy ater he got blown up?
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntSo, New episode.
I'm now willing to conclude there's nothing supernatural about the fall of the Heros. I'm also a tad surprised Guy's encouraging them to go this island; I thought it was a place he probably wouldn't want the Chaikas to know about.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."None of the heroes suffered a fate that'd make me think they were cursed. Some of them are doing quite well for themselves.
Toru was kind of an dumbass this episode, I was like "Stop fronting, you were a miserable parasite before meting Chaika so don't act like you don't care."
Old familiar face show up one after another, things will get interesting.
I think Akari got it wrong—Tohru is worried about her safety, yeah, but he got up and walked away because she just showed him some massive disrespect. He's spent weeks and months as her loyal sword, up to and including becoming an enemy of every intact nation in the world, and she says she's willing to part ways just because he disagrees with her once? This, when he's a saboteur, an entire profession essentially thrown away the moment they stopped being useful or agreeable?
She didn't just stomp on his issues, she went fucking Godzilla on them—and this is after he's spent those weeks and months with her, after he's the importance of the saboteur code, after he's gone to extraordinary lengths for her, after she's explicitly been shown through a magic vision that his biggest fear is being thrown away. And she doesn't even try to apologize? Sure, she felt bad, but that doesn't mean a goddamn thing.
I am going to be incredibly pissed if this just ends with Tohru apologizing, because she fucked up. She fucked up really, really badly.

Episode 3. In which there's water.
That's an extreme reaction for a little salt.
A step ahead of them... Well, they've got more parts. I'd count that as being ahead.
That's a motley line of people. And the ventriloquist is't particularly good.
Well, it's not like they've not performed before.
Of course everyone who's not him would want to see it. His sister in particular. And I've got to agree with his opinion about her. There's nothing cute or sweet about her.
I must say, for living in such a large mansion, there sure seems to be few servants.
Now, Fredrica is actually cute. Not sure if I should say even with a fish in her mouth, or because of it.
You know, can't they just look for the remains themselves? Like they did the first time around?
Sure, she'd probably not agree, but wouldn't Fredrica be more convenient than a ship?
How do you stab someone hard enough to pierce them with that thick pole? And random chains just wrap around it? Sure.
I'm sure that's a scene of no significance. Just random people with no connection to anyone, nor important to the plot in any way. Nothing new revealed at all.
I think he reached his own conclusion about Chaika firing him. It's not his job to dictate where they're going.
Who is she, and what has she done with Akari? She's being reasonable.
Well, those dragons would certainly account for people being lost at sea. As would that Kraken.
I think Fredrica has the absolutely worst fight record in the show.
I found it quite the opposite. He broke his own code by refusing to do his job. And seriously, "just because he disagrees with her once"? They've often disagreed before. Bottom line, she wanted to go somewhere that was extremely important for her. He didn't want to follow her. He's throwing himself away, if anything.
Check out my fanfiction!Yeah, I mean, she didn't say 'get out', she said 'I'm going with or without you'. Saboteur Code should probably dictate that that is the point where you shallow your misgivings and follow orders, but he seemed to hear that as 'since you're against it, I'll go without you'.
I mean, really, Saboteur Code probably says that he shouldn't have been trying to talk her out of going in the first place. Tooru's always been following the letter of it a lot more than the spirit in his misguided attempts at turning My Master, Right or Wrong (unless my master stops giving me money) into a heroic principle.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."3rd Avenging:
- Memories of Gaz haunt Clay very much. So much that I think anyone can take advantage of him just by saying something Gaz-related. Reinforcing my belief that Claudia's the best hero, period.
- Chaika Purple Version...s appear. And Hartgen looks like a big deal. And Alberic, how did you get there? Sure, Guy must've brought you to Hartgen, but why? And hey there, Shin. Looks like Toru and pals are gonna be in for quite the fight.
- Toru...wasn't really acting like a sabateur at that moment. Well, at least Akari made him understand his folly.
- Okay people, settle down. You've two choices; fight and capsize the ship, or let the Kraken do that for you. The Kraken chose for y'all, though, so no biggie.
- They're doing everything in their power to keep Fredrica from destroying everything with ease. Par the course....
Akari isn't a good character. She is entertaining however, so it's enough.
I thought Tohru was kinda inconsistent. I mean, if they just follow what their employer says, shouldn't she be the one that says where they are going? There really didn't seem to be any reason for him to object to looking other than the plot dictated them splitting up.
So thus far we've had Chaika white, Chaika red, Chaika blue, Chaika yellow and Chaika(s) purple no?
I guess Vivi is Chaika Black?
They should really form a sentai group.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntIt's like Duck said, it's not for him to decide where they are going and it's obviously very important for Chaika that they go there but he tried to have his way regardless. An Chaika didn't even throw him out, just said that if he refuses to do his goddamn job she'll go by herself. Which of course made him throw a hissy fit like a Drama Queen. Good thing Akari is more level headed than her ass of a brother.
Gatz treasure is a mecha?
Episode 2 Seson 2 is out:
Claudia is really strong. Even with all that she only lost because Fredericka distracted her. Well as she said it's a matter of experience.
Blushing Chaika is so cute. I have suspicion that she might like Tooru.
Claudia really has the heart of a proper hero. Such a nice person.
Gazt Fortune? This seems interesting. Maybe we'll finally start getting some answers. Also Red Chaika is heading there too.
Nice to see that Vivi is getting better. Having something to do should do her good.
