Not what I meant.
I meant that I'm not convinced there's anything unconscious about her thing. She strikes me as the type that gets very dangerous if pushed, and we have her calmly talking about how the assassins don't worry her, so…
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Episode 3 Preview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idoxB9sl-jA [NSFW]. The obligatorty Hot Springs scene (though something else substituting the hot spring, I guess), and...
so today's killer (can't remember her name),was lesbian Genocider Shou.
Finally seen the first episode. I thought this wasn't suppose to be a comedy. At least She didn't fall in love instantly.
10 episodes left and 10 assassins left. Though I doubt it'll work out that cleanly; the fake loli and the prince-type seem likely to team up, and I imagine there'll beat least one case of competition
Sumeragi and Nio both seem like good candidates for the Final Boss. At a guess, Sumeragi will be the last regular assassin, posing the greatest physical threat and with some kind of personal connection to what's going. Nio, though, will be fought after it's all more or less over, and engineer some screwed-up scenario
Episode 3: The botanical episode!!! Also where things are changed up a bit from the manga, but it's actually better and more detailed in many ways. Except Gelsemium elegans does not look like that at all, as the artists must have already known (artistic license). And the bondage fan"sercvice" (no). Plus Haru was smarter in the manga, like she knew Takechi was up to no good but didn't care because she just wants to live a normal life even if it's a farce.
I like the teacher a lot more with his enthusiasm about natural sciences.
Scissors really are the designated weapon of psycho lesbians.
Tokaku and Haru's relationship progression is coming along smoothly, not rushed at all.
I do wonder what Sunglasses-sensei meant. What is Tokaku really in class black for?
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Uhh, Tokaku's a bit slow on the uptake. First she rushes into the basement after being obviously directed there by a potential assassin, and then when she's locked in there she doesn't immediately realize she's been taken for a ride.
Also any helpful ways of remembering the girl's names? I've only really committed Haru, Tokaku, Nio, and Isuke to memory so far.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.Eh. I got Haru, Tokaku and Nio. I figure the problem will gradually resolve itself over the next few episodes.
Especially jarring since she scolded Haru for being too naive not too long ago.
As for character names:
Haruki is Isuke's roommate, aka Not!Kyouko.
Sumireko is the pinkish-haired Ojou-sama that looks like Anemone. AKA; "Lesbian Anemone"
Banba is the white-haired girl with Split Personality. She should be easier to identify due to her hair colour.
Everyone else I'm still trying to identify.

"I'll show you fear, there is no hell, only darkness." My twitterI've got the ones Scherzo did and Banba, who I find weirdly likeable despite the fact that she's probably a serial killer. Oh, and Haruki.
I call the others Glasses, Loli, Girl whose always with Loli, The Boss, Sonianote , Silver Hair and Fodder.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."I've got the ones Rynnec does. Oh, and Kaiba-sensei
The issue to me is that they'll sometimes use Given names and Family names interchangeably, so sometimes its hard to follow who's who.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.Yeah, the friccken' attendance calls. Who was missing at the end of episode 3, other than Tokaku and Haru?
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Oh yeah, there's also Hitsugi (loli) and Chitaru (prince-like girl and loli's girlfriend).
"I'll show you fear, there is no hell, only darkness." My twitterWell about episode 3, I liked jack the ripper assassin, Spider girl. It seems there are some really nasty people in that class.
Tokaku inability to kill a target is kind of a big disadvantage against these girls, luckily Haru as expected isn't a helpless girl and given the chance she can seriously turn the tables on a battle.
Also I hope they will find an ally or two, yeah very Haru like, but it would make this more interesting.

Takechi is the scissor girl who just got eliminated. Kenmochi is her glasses roommate. Still don't remember class rep or silver box cut. Or homeroom teacher.
Haruki=Haru + ki. Kenmochi =Ken + mochi Chitaru = cheater...
Also I find Kirigaya (loli) and Hanabusa (oujo) more memorable names personally.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Did anyone notice Scissor Psycho's expression when she tried attacking Nio at the end of the episode? It looked as if she discovered something about Nio. Cyborg implants???
Anyway, the episode was good. A bit different from the manga version but I agree that the presentation was better and improved. But, damn, remembering who everyone is is suffering. Especially with characters who are the least characterized like Glasses 2.0 and the girl with a blue bob.
Well, I think we can safely say that Nio is going to be our mastermind for the duration of this show.
Also, a thought. Has no one considered the possibility of sharing the reward? Theoretically, it should be possible for more than one person to "win" this game. For example, what if each member of Class Black brought an ingredient needed to brew a potent poison, each of them spent time mixing it, then they each held on to the vial/beaker as they poured it into a cake which they all baked before presenting it to Haru at a surprise party? That way, they each killed her if you think about it.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialProbably, but all of them would have to handle their red note to her, at that point Haru could simply run away or hide among the normal students to win.

Also am I imagining things when the capital TA character was meant as a sort of signature for the assassin?
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them. There's probably things stopping Haru from just running away. They likely don't want Haru to just run away, but to beat all the assassins (Toukaku excepted, her defecting is likely part of the plan, which is why the lady agreed so quickly. And also likely why she was put with Haru in the first place- if she *was* meant to be one of the assassins, that would be absolutely unfair to others).

The whole thing is an extremely inefficient way to kill someone, best exemplified when they gave an official OK to Haru having a protector. That suggests there's another goal as well here.
What's precedent ever done for us?this, having it organized like a game with eliminations and haru having to recieve notices in advance is extremely ineffective if the end goal is just getting her killed. something tells me it has to do with manipulating Tokaku and Dice-sensei's riddles are part of it. (he did say something about Tokaku awakening something within herself)
And the first one falls. Tokaku doesn't seem to be living up to her in-universe reputation. Haru probably could take care of herself if she didn't want to be friendly with the people trying to murder her. Well, I'm sure she has her reasons. Takechi was fun and creepy for the brief time we knew her. I'm amused that a trained assassin doesn't want to share rooms with her. Teacher guy stands out so much. In a good way. Something is going on with Nio.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.
It's possibly something "programmed" too, now that you mention it.
