He totally brought smiles to those in the Synchro Dimension during his last duel though. It's only after Roger showed up that people stopped smiling.

Well, that makes it worse. He actually made some progress up until Roger screwed everything up by making it look like Yuya was his ally.

And I believe I said that Roger is basically the reason that The Lancers (bar Dennis, who's kinda evil) have completely failed in their goal so far. Stuff like that is just part of it.

To be fair, at least his philosophy of dueling being a means of having fun is kinda-sorta starting to rub off on some of his more curmudgeony teammates. And it does work when someone else isn't trying to deliberately derail him.

It's like Yuya's fun qualities got separated into everyone else this arc. Also, show, stop shitting on Yuya. >:(

Although i do very much want a Yuzu and Gongenzaka reunion in Konami's Pachinko Mines the Underground.

• By the way, I wonder if Yuuya will have some special connection with Yuuri in the same vein as Yuugo and Yuuto. I bet he will.

The two will fuse into a super saiyan Yuura

Yuya being connected to Yuuri is pretty much guaranteed.

It's also going to be really awful for him.

At the rate this series is going Gen Urobuchi may as well become the head writer for the series at this rate, because Katsumi Ono is trying to out Urobutcher the Urobuchter.

Well, Urobuchi has somewhat softened since Madoka, so it might not be that hard to top him.

But even then, if there's no point to the suffering, then it's just Grimdark for the sake of grim dark.

Funnily enough, Katsumi Ono is also the head director of the Senki Zesshō Symphogear franchise, which was initially mocked as a Madoka Magica knockoff, only to go in the opposite direction with a more Super Robot feel to it like Nanoha.

I'd say check it out, it's very much a popcorn flick with fun characters.

So I decided to check out the dub...Ahnold in the first few minutes does not give me high hopes. I'm only halfway sold on "Gong" and Yuya. "Zuzu" is decent though.

Coach Hiragi's voice kills any respect I would have for the dub. Who the bloody hell thought that voice was what he needed?

I'm indifferent to Hiragi. Or should I say Skip Boyle. Could be better, could be worse. Could be Ahnold.

Yuri's dragon monster is call Starve Venom Fusion Dragon. It's also level 8. That's all the information we have until the next episode actually airs.

Why not level 7? :hmm

So because the place I watch raws on is too slow, I missed this one.

It'll be better when I can see the sub, but it's still annoying.

Been watching the dub. Do I remember the duel between Sora and Kurosaki having much better music in the original or am I hallucinating? Yes, it did. Why'd they change it. >=(

x4 The four dragons each seem to have something that differs from the other three. Dark Rebellion is rank 4, not 7(much easier to summon, but still), Clear Wing is the only one that isn't a DARK monster, and Starve Fusion isn't level 7. Though there is a theory that this a corrupted version of the original dragon, and that after Yuri's Heel-Face Turn it will return to normal.

Generally the idea I've seen is that Yuri is being possessed by his dragon.

He's the only one shown with reptile eyes in the fourth opening afterall.

The only thing I'm really curious about with Yuri's dragon is which pieces of random Venom support will work with his deck like with Yugo and roids.

Finally saw it.

• Really Selena? You let that dude just sneak up on you like that? I'm beginning to think Leo purposely trained her poorly, just so that she wouldn't be a threat.

• Reira finds the courage to put a single boot to the asses of three grown men. Courage folks.

• Next week, Yuya goes nuts, but it ain't just him. Looks like Yuri and Yugo are coming along for the ride.

Reira just did a One-Turn-Three-Kill, a feat that hasn't been performed by any one outside a Yu-Gi-Oh protagonist! Very impressive.
