All I know is, that Pudding Princess is an imposter.

So NAC just revealed some previews for episode 19-22. Here are them summarized.

Episode 19 "The Universe of Knowledge!! Kyuuandou Eita" - Yuya's 2nd fight. A battle on the "Quiz Field".

Episode 20 "A Difficult Problem!? Attack Duel Quiz! " - Continuing from the previous episode. Yuya continues to be frustrated and exhausted because he keeps answering the questions wrong.

Episode 21 "At the Front of Pendulums" - While Yuya continues figuring out the "Evolution of Pendulum Summoning" Reiji meant, Masumi challenges Sora and Yuzu to a tag duel, with LDS' fame on the line. But something happens..

Episode 22 "The Girl who Divinates - Houchuu Mieru" - Yuya's 3rd fight. Against a divination girl who fights with flip effects monsters. However, she assaults him brutally with her RITUAL MONSTERS! Also, Mieru makes an inauspicious divination for Yuya...

So yeah in short GISHIKI SHOUKAN! Arc-V gets a Crowning Moment of Awesome now

No, Gishiki means Rituals in Japanese (at least in Duel Monsters). See?[1]

Wait?

Masumi is challenging both Sora and Yuzu? Is she doing it on her own, or will she have a partner? Plus, what's the point of challenging them anyway?

It's probably connected to the Dark Duelist, and that other dude as well. Considering he showed up twice while Yuzu was around, Masumi might be doing that in order to draw him out.

The preview never mentioned a partner for Masumi, so I guess it's a 1 vs 2 fight. It's great actually, I always wondered how the "First-Player Does not draw" rule affects 2 vs 2 or 1 vs 2 fights.

As for her motive to duel them, the preview just mentioned "betting on the fame of LDS" so I guess it's an honour fight. But I think you and I know she's probably using this as a way to drag the Dark Duelist out, seeing as she saw both of them with him and he doesn't want Yuzu hurt. Hey! Maybe this'll be the episode that'll debut Yuzu's Fusion monster or, better yet her Pendulum Monsters! The title mentioned Pendulums.

Finally! They didn't forget about ritual summoning!

It's more likely she'll drag Hokuto along with her, and the preview just didn't mention him. I mean, would you?

Just got off the stream:

Yuzu and Sora train while Yuzu fails to fusion summon and forgets to put a fusion monster(can't identify yet) in her extra deck. The Dark Duelist stalks her, while she talks to Sora. The Dark Duelist has a flashback to a desolate area where he fights a man in white on foot while he- HOLY RA! A DUEL RUNNER! Yeah, DD fights him while he's circling him with his motorcycle (The guy he's fighting is on the motorcycle, DD is on foot). Shun and others are present in the flashback. As the flashback ends, Yuzu's bracelet flashes and Yuya suddenly appears, near the area where the DD was standing while DD appears near LDS, where he finds Shun dueling the secruity Guy from Episode 15. Yuya tries getting info from Sora (who broke in for Dinner)and Yuzu has a fight with Shuzo about her bracelet. She considers throwing it, but doesn't.

At LDS Reiji and Himika discover what happened to Marco and Security Guy: They have been turned to cards a la Pegasus. Shingo's dad breaks in demanding Yuya and he's kicked out. Yuya passes by LDS and Shingo's dad just finds him and send his equivalent of Shingo's lackey to catch him. He runs into Shun in an alley who summons Unknown monsters despite no Duel and XYZ summons an unknown XYZ monster (Who looks like a giant mechanical chicken with wing from what I can make out) and attacks Shingo's dad and his lackeys, turning the lackeys into cards and blasting Yuya into the garbage while causing damage to the area. Yuya wakes up, horrified to see Nico Smiley in front of him. Yuya tries to explain what happened but find Shun and Shingo's dad gone....

Next Week!Filler time! Yuya tries to be smart but kids know better. The wait is even more agonizing, we have to wait 2 weeks till we get some development

Just watched it myself:

It seems that Shun attacked those dudes solely for wearing LDS badges. He and the Dark Duelist may not have the exact same agenda, even if they seemed to be comrades in the past. Or at the least, shun might be more willing to attack on sight than the Dark Duelist, since it seems the only reasons those dudes became cards is because they were wearing LDS badges.

The return of Turbo duelling was appreciated as well. And this marks the first time someone on a cycle went up against someone on foot.

It occurs to me that the whole thing with Leo Duel School consolidating Fusion, Synchro and XYZ's might be a meta reason to bring back older summoning techniques. I mean, their bringing back Tribute summons. You don't get any more old school than that.

Next thing you know, Ultimate Great Moth will actually be useful.

It is implied that Yuto (yeah, moon rabbit is DD's name) teleports thru space and time without control. Is there any reasons for the destination to be Maiami and what it look like to be Heartland City? Find out next three months later!

The Dark Duelist is named Yuto and his opponent was named Yugo. With that we got 4 protagonists now.

Also, I got my questions to how would that Duel work. My guess is that Yuto could freely use his Spell Cards whenever he wanted to, while Yugo would have to accumulate Speed Counters every Standby Phase, but only Yugo could use the effects of Speed World 2.

Alternately, it wasn't a duel so much as summoning real monsters in a typical battle, or it was a normal duel that happened to just have one of it's participants on a Duel Runner. Like in the 5Ds manga, sorta.

My understanding is that Yugo used the duel runner like a normal duel disk. We see that happened with Paradox in the movie.

Just watched the sub:

Yuto and Shun make reference to someone named Ruri, and Yuzu has clued into the fact that her bracelet is mysterious; her dad says she's had it her whole life. Interesting.

Meanwhile Sawatari's dad is a few plot points behind, since even Sawatari himself knows Yuuya wasn't behind the other attacks. Then again, Sawatari hasn't done anything to dissuade the idea that Yuuya attacked him (though he still genuinely believes it to have been Yuuya doesn't he?).

Next week, Yuuya proves to be Book Dumb.

So what;s the verdict so far on this series; I kinda dropped out of Yugioh after Zexal.

He is also has Arbitrary Skepticism problems. He has a magic Pendant that made his pendulum cards, but doesn't believe in Yuzu's story about him appearing out of nowhere and her bracelet.

If I could sum it up: It has all the things that made the previous spin-offs good, rolled into one and with its own few twists. It has the Good Cast of Characters from GX (before they were shafted), the interesting and challenging Duel writing from 5DS and the aesthetic and light-hearted tone that made Zexal popular. Though it has its flaws and even the previous series had their major flaws, Arc-V at least tries to go for the middle ground.

• Holy crap! What's with that Bad Future? Did Zero Reverse happen again? And hey, a D-Wheel! Good to know that Riding Duels may still be a thing.
• Hmmm... Now I'm wondering if Yuzu's this Ruri person's past life... But, her bracelet's some teleportation device or something...
• Shingo, your dad's...one dumb jerk. At this rate, screw him becoming mayor! Well, your smugness had to come from somewhere...
• Ack! People trapped in cards! Didn't think I'd ever see that again. Shun really hates anyone affiliated with LDS. Wait, Are Shun and DD the only ones here. I bet their comrades are also walking around in this timeline. Nah, just kidding.
• Yuuya's next opponent's a quiz whiz. Will his late night quiz watching save him!?

yep, DD's name is Yuto and White D-Wheel guy's name is Yugo

I kinda want to see a reference to Slifer 10 in the next duel.

As we have to endure two more weeks of pointless filler. Here are some developments.

First, A new Level 8 Fusion Monster called "Beast-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" will be included in next months V-Jump. It is suggested that it will appear in the show and Yuya might use it. Source[1] Picture[2]◊

is Quiz Kid really that annoying?

and while we don't have Shadow Duels, we have Shun sucking people's souls into cards. just give the kid an LDS badge , put him in front of Shun and break the card once Shun's done
