I like how 'card' has ceased to be a noun and has become a verb.
The Protomen enhanced my life.http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Demise_Urban
It's funny how bad this is.
Is... is that a joke card? A placeholder that accidentally got released? It can be improved by adjusting the wording to 100 ATK for each Hero you control.
Hell, make it 1000 per turn instead. Then putting it in your deck would look reasonable.
Anime cards are designed around dramatic convenience over logic, what else is new?
There's NOTHING dramatic about that card, even from a writing stand point except for, maybe, "Oh my monster is the exact same point of 10000, but that card ruined EVERYTHING."

I get that Demise Urban is only used to activate "Destiny HERO - Dystopiaguy's effect, but the attack boost didn't have to be shitty as well.
Well, it raises the attack of a monster, activating said monster's effect to destroy the protagonist's monster that was about to destroy the monster who's attack was raised, immediately turning the momentum of the duel around.
Not EVERY card needs to have 3 sentences of effects to make it dramatic, nor do cards need to be dramatic on their own. I'd argue that it's better when cards are dramatic because of how they work together, not in concert. In addition, you can't take a card out of the context of it being played and declare "dramatic" or "not-dramatic". The context is critical to deciding if the card is dramatic or not. Hell, episode 7 of the Arc-V had dealing 100 points of damage be extremely dramatic and flashy.
Yuto beating Shingo with Anime!Phantom Knights' Spear was intentionally funny, I thought, rather than dramatic. I'm laughing at demise Urban's shitty effect because it was a throwaway card of the highest order.
This isn't even a complaint, I just want to see if anyone shares my laughter.
The Phantom Knight card had other effects that justify it existing.
I personally don't mind cards with rather weak effects in the anime. If it works for the story, if works for the story.
Sawatari's Tribute Carnival is for all intents and purposes a worse Double Summon, after all.
Given what I know of Phoenix's backstory in GX, I wonder if any of it is going to be drawn on here to justify his devotion to Reio aside from the usual Academia brainwashing. I'm more impressed with his showing here than in his first duel at least, though the issues with Demise Armor's really weak effect and Yuya's brand-spanking-new dragon getting wiped out in two minutes were weird.
The music in this episode was really good, on the other hand.
grace going from a cold hearted bitch like her sister to wanting Yuya's babies is pretty funny. .
Watch SymphogearSo it finally dawned on me that Edo is wearing is GX suit under his fancy...cape...cloak thingy.
....Seriously, what is that thing?
I'm gonna call it a clope.
One Strip! One Strip! So, Phoenix is wearing his silver Phoenix suit under his von Karma suit under his cloak? I thought his "Under my cloak I have another cloak" was already funny enough, but it's now even better with another layer.
Yeah, there's some OCG product-related art floating around of him without the robe. Underneath is a version of his GX suit with purple and gold trim.
I wonder if they're going to play that purely for laughs or if they're actually going to pit the sisters against each other at some point.

Duel 110. AND ACTION!
- Wow, Kaito's acting chill all of a sudden.
- Aster's so indoctrinated, he refuses to accept other ways of dueling. Well, he'll be open to them like Grace is soon enough.
- Unlike Rune-Eyes and Beast-Eyes, Brave-Eyes' debut was spoiled. It'll have its vengeance, you'll see!
Man, Yuya really was at the top of his game this week.
Good to hear.
Wish I could find it.
Edit: Never mind. I got it.
Give yourself a pat on the back Yuya. You earned this one.

One Strip! One Strip!Grace has turned into such an adorable fangirl for Yuya. I want to take her home with me.
Watch SymphogearMan, Seto Kaiba would NOT take people using Solid Vision for war in Arc-V well at all. Especially since Kaiba Corp started out being used for war until he retooled it into games. He’d probably think Gozaburo got the last laugh :(
The Protomen enhanced my life.Doesn't he go insane because of his obsession with duelling the Pharoah in the new movie?
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
That's actually a good point. It's kinda depressing when you think about it.
I thought he was just being his usual charming self?
One Strip! One Strip!Man, Arc-V's main page and nightmare fuel page are larger than the main Yu-Gi-Oh series' manga, anime, and nightmare fuel pages.
The Protomen enhanced my life.
Most intriguing part of 109 was Kite choosing not to card the three Obelisk mooks.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!
