Celestia arrives t the stage an takes a seat.

"She's here! Filli! Lost! Places! By the statues Lost! Filli folow me!" Rhyme said in a state of nervous excitement.

Yonder, who had been watching the rehearsals quietly, felt his breath catch as Celestia sat down nearby him. Whoo boy, he thought warily. I hope that was enough time for everypony to absorb their parts... He breathed deep, and tried his hardest to remember their roles himself - just in case anypony might need a cue from the crowd during the performance...

Just a reminder I still exist, I guess. My... talent set doesn't really lend itself to hosting. Should I make a check to see if I can remember anything now, or wait for if it becomes necessary?

Rhyme stepped over to talk to Yonder. "OK. So I talked to the Mayor and she was able to get a script for this play. Whenever somepony stumbles on a line, mime it out to us." she said.

The Mayor whispers to Rhyme. "I got all the information I could. I hope this works."

"Allright. I think the show's ready? Any objections?" she asked the cast.

"Fine by me," Klepto shrugged. "I know I didn't get much practice, but I'll give it my best shot."

Filigree cantered over to Rhyme. "Wait, what was it you wanted me to do again?"

I'll wait to see if anything happens, then.

"Congratulations Filli, you're Spike." she said cheerfully.

"Everything's in order on my end, been practicing to get the background illusions perfect."

"Ah, just one moment, Rhyme, if you will!" Lost dashed over to where the mayor was sitting. "Excuse me, mayor, but if you would allow me to take a look at this for just a moment..." He snatched the script out of her hooves before she could reply, and began flipping through it. "Lets see... my lines are... Aha!" He stopped flipping through the pages and quickly looked over the lines he was to perform.

"As confident as I'm ever going to be, we can't leave the Princess waiting too long." He handed the script back to the mayor. "I'm set to go," he said with a nod of his head.

"OK everyone! Get in position!" Rhyme said. "Let's do our best!" she said straining to sound encouraging.

Lost began moving over to the staging area. Goodness, I haven't actually been in a stage production since that educational piece we did when we visited that elementary school he thought to himself. He winced slightly as he recalled the event. I do hope that this goes better than that did...

He took his place near the other ponies that he would be performing with. "Good luck, all!"

Rhyme let out a deep breath. "Let's do this." she said before heading into town Hall beckoning Filli to follow. She turned on the speakers that she'd asked the mayor to set up. She tensely waited as the musical introduction played. On cue she burst out of town hall doors.

Do I need a roll for line recollection? As for singing and dancing. Dex+ Perform+ Circumstance: for Dancing. 7+ 3 +8 + 7 +2 + 10: 8 on reroll. Pre + Perform + Specialty for singing. 7+ 8 + 10 + 5 + 8 + 2. Reroll: 7. That makes 6 for the dancing and 6 for the singing.

Nah. Don't worry about line recalling. I can tell you from experience that that's less important than it seems.

Your dancing's pretty god, but your singing is amazing!

She sang with as much vigor and energy as she could.

"Morning in Ponyville Shimmers! Morning in Ponyville shines! And I know for absolute certain! That everything's going to be fine!" she kept herself at an even pace, moving her forlegs around excitedly. This impulse happened to be natural for her, as she had a habbit of doing that when excited.

"There's the mayor on route to her office!" she said waving to the mayor. "There's a sofa clerk selling some quills." she said giving Yonder a wave, feeling bad about leaving him out of the fun.

"My Ponyville is so gentle and still. Can things ever wrong I don't think that they will!" she said, taking a quick breath. This was the part she was worried most about. She hadn't done serious tap dance practice for years. But still she got on her hindlegs best she could, tapping her hardest, managing to perfectly sync to the beat. After the pause was over she got back down and finished the song.

"Morning in Ponyville shimmers! Morning in Ponyville shines! And I know for absolute certain! That everything is certainly...!" she said, "bumping into" Gustave.

"What in Equestria is going on!?" she said, giving the cue to Gustave.

Stray Thoughts blinked.

I fly after the floating plushes like I'm chasing them and begin to sing.

"These animals don't listen, no, not one little bit
They run around out of control and throw their hissy fits."

I act startled and turn around, letting the plushes chase me now.

"It's up to me to stop them, 'cause plainly you can see..."

I dive and act like I'm trying to hide from the plushes, while staying in plain sight of the audience.

"It's got to be my destiny,
And it's what my cutie mark is telling me..."
