There's another panel where Calvin walks in with the glasses.
That said, I still say two panels. Those are cliche dad-y lines, those are NOT a little boy's set of glasses, and the description is comically short. Three panels will utterly dwarf the description, which I don't like.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Yep. It's a four-panel strip. The second one is a beat panel of Calvin walking in with the glasses on and both parents staring at him blankly.
Incidentally, that was a quick-and-dirty rearrangement to see how it would look. That;s why the first and last panels aren't as sharp as the second — they're the ones I copied and moved. So if someone else wants to clean it up, go for it.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.We have enough room for this to be two panels wide. It's a shame we can't use the whole thing, because this would really work as a 2x2.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I can live with that arrangement. I think adding the first panel makes it a hair stronger, but not enough to override the benefit of having it 2-horizontally rather than 3-vertically.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.30 is good. Thoughts on my caption suggestion?
I think the last two panels of C&H would work nicely, no caption necessary.
No caption.

The only issue I have with using all three panels is that it may be the whole strip. Maybe "Well, he did ask where his glasses were." as a caption? That would eliminate the need for the first panel.
