Yeah, Friendly Sniper would describe her, with varying degrees of "friendliness".

[up][up][up]Genius Bruiser? Or Badass Bookworm? My apologies btw for troperizing people. I don't usually do that but for some reason in this game I feel compelled. I'll stop if requested.

Naw, I don't imagine him being that intellectual or nerdy. He does happen to have a stockpile of random factoids, though. Someday This Will Come in Handy. (I hope.)

I don't mind the troping. It kinda helps define the character, in my opinion.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...

Daniel: Accepted.

And as or when this RP will start, I'm gonna wait until Monday to start because of Easter celebrations and as a last-ditch attempt to garner further intrest. But it will definitely start on Monday.

Sweet.

By the way, would it be fair to assume that the name of Mouse was inspired by Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH?

[up] It would be! I like to create characters inspired by myths or books. Good eye!

Mouse also has a lot of my little sister in her, which will also be fun to play. evil grin

[up][up][up]We have four players, that's enough to at least start. Maybe you should contact Immortal Neet and Eponymous Kid and see if they're still interested?

I won't deny it, I have been playing too much Sleeping Dogs lately

  • Name: Wong Longwei (Longwei Wong in western order)- "Wei"
  • Age:16
  • Sex: Male
  • Appearance: A slender but nonetheless compact and muscular body, average heighted teenager with chinese features. He usually dresses in a street badboy fashion, with hiking boots, baggy cargo trousers, a sleeveless shirt,a leather jacket, and fingerless studded gloves. Although he's not above ditching them if the situation requires it. He has short, cropped black hair.
  • Abilities: Longwei is an adept Wing Chun practicioner, able to take down opponents twice his age with his conditioned body, agility and reflexes. He has got a keen detective instinct and he's able to dig up information from haggling in the streets. He can read and speak fluently Cantonese, English and some Spanish. He can use firearms decently, but loathes to do so.
  • Personality:Longwei is a peaceful easygoing individual most of the time, who loves the small pleasures of life and a healthy amount of female company and sometimes a sip or two of alcohol. He is slow to anger and rather wise beyond his age but he's not above indulging in childish antics. He enjoys some friendly sparring and meditation aswell. However, once provoked, Longwei has no mercy, and he suffers no injustice, exacting a brutal retaliation on who becomes his foe.

  • Bio: Born to a Triad thug and his mistress, young Longwei did not have a sheltered life in the underbelly of Hong Kong. Nevertheless the young kid had a never ending vitality befitting his given name, and he did pull through with the warm care of her mother. He never heard of his father until he was 4. That day, his father came into her mother's house, with a distressed, haunted look in his face, asking for forgiveness and having the intention to spirit both her and the child to San Francisco, provided that they'd give shelter for the night. While her mother was initially mad at being abandoned, both reconciled and Longwei rejoiced, for he had a father at least.

But he never survived the night, as the people from an enemy triad entered the humble house, guns blazing, and killed his father and crippled his mother with gunfire before his eyes. Still in shock, both mother and son were sent to San Francisco, where his uncle, a police detective in Chinatown, took both of them in. He even paid for his mother's rehabilitation, to atone for the recklessness of his brother, but the damage was done. Young Longwei had been scarred mentally, unable to find peace at night. It was then when his uncle made a life-changing decision. He sent the young Longwei to mainland china, to the very Shaolin school he once trained, hoping the monks would heal the distressed lad's spirit.

While Longwei did long for his family, he performed greatly and had a superb recovery under the monks disciplined care, and when he was 15, he was sent back to San Francisco. Many things had changed since then. His uncle had moved on and had married his mother, and he had a baby sister now. Though initially surprised, Longwei cherised that he had a resemblance of a normal life at least. He even begun to socialize with boys and girls of his age, enjoying the much sought peace in his life.

But the organized crime would come back to haunt his life. During a specially dangerous investigation, his uncle was gunned down in a shootout with a certain Chinatown gang leader. Longwei snapped, and from that moment he became hellbent in taking revenge against them. He was lucky for some time, evading their hitmen and striking at their weak points, but he became too reckless, and he was caught and tortured, he thought it would be the end of his life, when the San Francisco police found and freed him. Even if they didn't approve of his actions, his impressive stunt made him a candidate for AIMED.
