Okay, so I'm trying to decide my blasphemy.

Idea One: The Miracle Worker: The concentration of all Maxine's fears about magic and reality warping and things comes to a head: With a massive pool of MP, it has the power to use anyone around's miracles... For them, essentially , though it tends to twist them as it goes...

Idea Two: The High School for the Magically Gifted (Sponsored by Namco): Essentially, the wish 'I wish that the entire high school was magic'. Everyone becomes wizards, witches, ect for a while, though due to properties they'd kind of remember how it used to be, and certain characters like Davesprite might remember more.

Idea Three: Mz. Maxzeenuh: Essentially, Maxine goes utterly mad, becomes a walking hole in reality that shifts whatever she comes near, and goes around changing things like Bat Mite.

Thoughts?

Option three seems like it has the most of that terrible awfulness you get with blasphemies.

It might be so, but I'm interested on how One and Two would go around 3;D

Added a new wound to my sheet:

Wound: Mundanity (Maxine rejects magic, rejects the possibility of it being helpful, and hates that she, herself, is from a magical species.)

Denial (Miraculous Action, Major, Bleak) 1MP - 1/book, cut away someone's power 2MP - invoke a second or later time per book 4MP - invoke a second or later time per chapter Invoke this power when someone uses a power in a way you don't like, and it defeats all lower-level miraculous actions, some comparable miraculous actions, and virtually all supernatural mundane actions, and can even weaken Imperial actions. You can even sustain the power to deny the other person access to the one you defeated, as though it was removed entirely from their sheet.

Mystical Null (Imperial Miracle, 4MP) You may mark yourself as a mystical void. This provides an Affliction equal to your Wounded Angel trait, shrouding you from miraculous and supernatural effects - but also seriously impairing your efforts to use those yourself.

Oh, heads up, I picked up Nobilis, so now I might finally understand what you guys are talking about!

._. I was feeling sick today so I didn't get to reread my sheet nor anything like that. And if I keep like this tomorrow I'll probably spend some time at a doctor :/ >_> Sorry.

Also someone said they were interested but were unsure what they'd need for it. I asked what they meant by it but I got no answer so far.

I'll try to get up a document with my complete character sheet today. There won't be that many changes to what I do to Lolo, though.

I got a PM from someone who asked for a copy of the rules handout and then withdrew their request two minutes later.

Don't worry, take as long as you need, the internet isn't going anywhere.

I can't tell if that's the person But I don't think I have the right to bug you for their privacy. Or something.

Also I'm feeling... Better than yesterday, that's for sure, but still sick. What should I do before it begins?

1. Go through your playbook and put up a post listing your answers to the "Choose Your [X]" pages and any adaptations you make; I know what most of them are, but I'd like a central repository. You don't need to make a google .doc out of it, but it doesn't hurt.
2. Review, at the very least, the XP Action and mortal action rules from the handout; if you feel up to it, the rest of it too, but the first couple of chapters will probably be nice and relaxed, get-used-to-the-rules stuff, so don't feel too pressured.
3. In case of long conversations, making sure you can access the IRC channel is probably a good idea. Use the info posted by neopie last page.
4. Take out your wallet, hold it in front of you and repeat the oath: "Help Yourself".

Do I need to pick out my favorite scenes? I just assumed I wouldn't be touching my sheet because I wasn't making any adjustments.

Favourite scenes are kind of a roleplaying thing. They're not vital, but it certainly doesn't hurt.

In that case, I guess

• Engaging in Hall Monitor duties.
• Keeping your head down.
• On the hunt for tuna.
• Aggresively searching for rulebreakers.
• Taking shelter on the roof.

I don't imagine this has much of a hard rule to it, or anything, so I'm still going to do the other stuff because it sounds fun.

On an entirely different note, Vivio would be proud of my post number.

I backtracked through the Nobilis thread and found the answers I chose for Lolo's playbook, so I think I'll change my mind and just repost them (having already re-checked them) instead of posting a doc.

• For her 'wound', I'm going with "The transitory nature of joy and friendship."
• For the Curse and Trigger, "...you can't talk much to people, or they start feeling ennui encroaching on their lives (Or is that just because you mention how nothing matters in every other sentence?)". As a Curse, this is fairly straightforward and shouldn't require much effort in escalating as it gets worse.
• I'm sticking with the default option of priest as her magic.
• I had some difficulty choosing the Sanctuary. Ultimately, I think I'm going with "There's a specific place where stepping off the roof lets people into your Sanctuary rather than intensive care."
• Quests will remain the same.
• I'll be adding a -1 Connection to Al. B Tross, for being so disgustingly energetic, to Lolo at least.
• I'll keep the World-Breaker's Hand ("Nihilism") as its default option.
• No other changes.

• a cheat code dealer
• -1 connection to Lola. It's hard to click with someone when you think they're a criminal mastermind for no good reason.

I think I should just link to this. Thoughts?

It has been suggested that when my blasphemy comes out, one of the things she/it should do is turn the school into a school for french maids.
