Try Paint.NET instead!
A different shape every step I take A different mind every step of the lineFuck, GIMP's just as complicated. D: Trying Paint.net.
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyInstaller thing is going really effin' slow; probably loading all these ads. Whoa, my Chrome browser just crashed. The shit?
Whaddya mean Norton's scanning shit? I thought I uninstalled Norton months ago!
Now it's trying to get me to download drivers or something! PAINT.NET IS A VIRUS!
But seriously, I don't even know what's going on anymore. I should've stuck with Photoshop, or fucking Paint.
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyNow Chrome's opening mysearchdial.wtf automatically, and the top billion hits for it on Google appear to be "Mysearchdial won't fuck off."
Fuck you and your fuckmothering viruses, Catfish.
All I wanted out of the last two hours was a way to draw a picture and then move it around on top of another picture, and now I'll be spending the rest of the day trying to get my computer unfucked.
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyBTW, it's official: trying to download Paint.NET is just not worth the risk.
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babySilver lining? Malwarebytes is finally earning its keep. I wonder if they have an Android app...
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyYou clicked the right download link, I trust? Not one of the ads with a shouty, colourful "Download" button?
A different shape every step I take A different mind every step of the lineI honestly have no idea at this point. :/ According to the admin in the forum thread I linked to, I was on the wrong site entirely; I think the only actually safe download for paint.net is at a URL that doesn't even contain the product name.
At this point, I'mma stick with trying to figure out Photoshop; or better yet, just go without. I only wanted to use it to help keep track of stuff for a DND game I'm DM'ing, and DM's have gotten by without it since the seventies anyway.

i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyBTW, if anybody wants to, like, post funny Photoshop pictures or talk about it or something, they can do so now; I'm done derailing my own thread. :/

Surprises the hell out of me that we don't have one of these already. To be honest, though, I'm mostly starting this 'cause I'm a noob and have a question.
How do I make a circle, fill it, make it a picture thing like it was drawn with the Pencil, write text on it, and then attach the text to the circle so I can move both at once? Also, if it's even possible, how do I make it so I can have more than one of these movable things in the same layer?
EDIT: Hold the phone. GIMP is supposedly Paint with layers, which is what I wanted; gonna try that.
EDIT 2: In case anyone from THE FUTURE was just looking for a general thread about Photoshop related things, you can go ahead and post here; ignore the derail that takes up the first chunk of this page.
