Oh that's right. Nickelodeon had their Upfront at around this same time too. Okay let's read the thing...
I'd like more info on Bad Seeds and Four Random Words That Sound Funny Together. Otherwise, I'm not interested in anything else here.

They didn't mention The Legend Of Korra as a 2014-15 season release... does that mean it's airing in the spring?

If it's not in an Upfront, I always assume it's not happening this coming year.

We don't know what's actually being shown at the Upfront, right? They gave a preview of shows airing new episodes in the 2014-15 season (which I assume means something equivalent to school year, spring and fall) but there's no reason a show that went unlisted couldn't be on display.
The chances of LOK being held until fall 2015 are nil given the creators' chatter and everything they've been showing. "Too soon to be listed for the season" makes far more sense than "too late," given all the smoke.
Apparently the passage I posted was a pre-release thing. And Nick's actual conference will take place sometime this afternoon/evening,
Aaah okay.
Fairy Odd Parents is sill around, huh? That show disappears and reappears from TV at odd intervals. I'll go about thinking it was cancelled, then BAM! It's back with no warning.
Yeah... Hartman should've been booted out by now - he ain't got no skills, and I know Canadian cartoonists far superior to him, despite all the hate those guys usually get (and only deserve so much of, IMHO!).
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.The only reason Fairly-Odd Parents is still around is because Nickelodeon wants Butch Hartman to stick around with them, because they know he's something like their best animation producer they still have, and he could just work under a rival network at any moment. Nothing he's created has been as successful as Fairly-Odd Parents, so that's what they're renewing.
Too bad he's ruining this channel with his failure to embrace the times and do new stuff like EVERYONE ELSE before him.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.The worst part? He doesn't see any problem with it. NO ONE ON ANY SIDE ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM.
I honestly think the only reason why people still watch new Sponge Bob is that people find it tolerable compared to the new Fairly Odd Parents (I sorta view FOP as Nick's Phineas and Ferb in the sense that it was popular for a few years, but has become Deader Than Disco and not alot of people own up to ever liking either, in spite of their popularity). Anyway I think the reason why FOP is still being renewed is that it's a well known and loved franchise and because it's been around for a long time, they think it will still reel in viewers as not alot of their newer shows are that popular.

The lack of respect for all audiences being a key factor - They brought this upon themselves, unfortunately. No way around that.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.
From the Upfront preview:
"Nickelodeon has added three live-action comedies to its slate, the network announced Thursday in advance of its Upfront presentation.
The kids network ordered Henry Danger, Bella and the Bullfrogs (working title) and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. All three series will begin production this summer and will premiere later this year.
Henry Danger is from Dan Schneider (Sam & Cat, iCarly, Josh & Drake) and follows a 13-year-old boy who becomes a part-time sidekick to a super crime fighter. Nick has ordered 20 episodes of the series. Bella and the Bullfrogs, which was picked up for 12 episodes, centers on a head cheerleader who becomes the quarterback of her school's team. Nick, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn follows a group of quadruplets and has been ordered for 13 episodes.
Building on the success of its longrunning Kids' Choice Awards, the network will launch a sports-themed version of the show, Kid's Choice Sports 2014, which will be hosted and executive produced by Michael Strahan (pictured). The show will air July 17 from UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. Former pro athletes including Ken Griffey Jr., Cal Ripken, Lisa Leslie and Tony Hawk will be a part of a council to help with the award show.
Nickelodeon has also slated three new animated series for 2014-15: Bad Seeds, Pig Goat Banana Cricket and Welcome to the Wayne, which will launch on the Nick App.
The network will also roll out new episodes of returning animated series, Sponge Bob Square Pants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, Rabbids and The Fairly Odd Parents for the 2014-15 season.
On the preschool side, Nickelodeon has greenlit two animated series Shimmer & Shine, starring twin genies-in-training and featuring an emotional-intelligence curriculum; and Fresh Beat Band of Spies, based on the live-action series The Fresh Beat Band, which teaches problem-solving. Those join Blaze and the Monster Machines and Dora and Friends: Into the City! as new preschool series for 2014-15."
Thoughts?
