I'm going to be looking at about a third of what's announced so far, but, yeah, not much I'm looking forward to
Also, Strange+ is getting a second season

I'm not sure what playing up the horror would even entail. The next arc of SAO is basically just a summer blockbuster action movie kinda story.
Considering that DeathGun is portrayed as mysterious and a killer that's almost supernatural in nature, using the art and camera to instill a growing sense of dread in the viewers should prove very effective.
Give the God Eater game thread some love! Not once does the story take seriously the "supernatural" possibility. They take it even less seriously than they took it in the first arc. It's a thriller about hunting down a serial killer, with all the action, danger, and mystery-solving you'd expect that to entail.
Yeah, but I'm just saying that the potential is there.
Regardless of what they do with it though, they really do need to improve. A lot.

Give the God Eater game thread some love! They don't really need to "improve" so much as get the quality back up to the point it was for the Aincrad arc. It's a sure-seller, so they aren't gonna make any drastic decisions.
But isn't SAO being as schlocky as it is part of why its so popular? The anime in particular I mean. I don't think they're really gonna change it that much.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them. The people that likes the show for the in their opinion bad romances are only a small part of the fandom, most others are people that genuinely think Kirito's harem romances were developed nicely along the entire series.
I'll be following GGO for the music...and sporking.
Can't wait for the Apollo 17 references in Aldnoah. It would be a shame if they don't. The soundtrack composer alone convinced me to follow it. Did the same thing for Kill la Kill, was not disappointed.
Rail War seems to be another anti-capitalism series.
so far I'm interested in:
Aldonah Zero
Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya 2wei!
Space Dandy
Argevollen

The latest Sailor Moon anime looks like it's gonna be amazing for a Toei series.
It has Studio Ghibli A-listers as part of the animation staff, for one.
Watch SymphogearAmagi Brilliant Park confirmed for Fall
The show doesn't interest me, but I'd love to know what happened to make Kyo Ani agree to animate this
I remember seeing the manga version once. It wasn't far enough along to say for sure, but seemed to have potential.
Remember Kyoukai No Kanata? Maybe they are on a light novel kick or something.

Because both the author and publisher have strong ties to Kyo Ani. Shoji Gatoh has worked with Kyo Ani on his own projects (Full Metal Panic Fumoffu and The Second Raid) as well as others (series composition for Hyouka, scripts for Haruhi and Lucky Star). Amagi is owned by Kadokawa, and Kyo Ani have done adaptations of some of their other properties too (FMP, Haruhi, Lucky Star, Nichijou, Hyouka).

Another for Fall: Denki-Gai no Honya-san
More Space Dandy? So does this mean Toonami can get than extra half hour to premier Space Dandy and Attack on Titan back to back?
They really are milking P4.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0This list◊... rationality is telling me not to trust it but I'd like some confirmation to calm the excitement in me... the Grisaia anime can't be real right? I looked at the site and there's an announcement in there but I can't understand Japanese
"If music be the food of love, PLAY ON" - William ShakespeareAnyway, the ANN announcement can be found here.
Join my forum game!Whelp, I looked through the list and somehow there's not a single anime that looks promising.
I guess I'll have to survive till fall somehow.
Wasn't expecting Grisaia so soon. Guess I'll be watching that although I expect them to completely ruin it one way or the other. Hayate OV As and Sailor Moon might be worth checking out. Persona 3 movie... sounds like it would be really rushed but hell, I'll give it a shot.
Oh, more Hayate no Gotoku? More manga adaptation isn't quite as interesting as original content, but I'll watch them eventually.
I couldn't conceive a dream so wet; your bongos make me congo.the persona 3 movie shouldn't be too rushed because it's the second out of 4 movies, so it has enough time to not be too rushed
I actually found the first hald of the SAO anime okay, but "playing up the horror" is a phrase that would make me drop the series like a hot potato, no offense. These are certain genres I won't touch with a ten-foot pole.
I see five series here, tops, that I'm willing to watch, and none of them seem like winners, either. This is looking to be backlog season for me unless something changes.
