I swear it was the kickstarter update!
Thanks.
As a full newbie who created an account couple days ago, I decided to take an initiative and put up a page. Darkest Dungeon.
I don't think I'll be putting any good tropes until I learn more about the game, so you can do the rest with my blessings.

Let us hug with shadows overcasting our faces and eyes
Thanks man, good to see the page is shaping well. I'm sure people will add more stuff once the game is out!
So early-access is out and you might be wondering abou-IT'S SO GOOD AND SO MUCH FUN IT'S AWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Nice! Might end up playing it, altought I would prefer preparing myself for the full version. Well then, more work on the page I guess!
If I only had a computer that could play these sorts of games at a decent enough speed...
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024)."Psychological gothic rougelike RPG" would have been enough to sell me, but it just looks so fun in motion.
Fuck! Too many good games, so little time and space...
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018I think Quill18, Flik, and Malborzir have all started playthroughs of the game as well, so if people want to watch it, there's them.
AO 3 profile: goodygoody19Damn, this looks good. Wish I had KS it...oh well, I'll wait till it's out properly on EA then.
Give me cute or give me...something?According to the developers (and a quick private chat I managed to have with one of them), they don't plan on staying in Early Access for long. The game is also pretty polished at its current for those wondering.
$20 at final release.

Early access started today.
^Yeah I see it. Good thing it's only $10 here.
...fuck me, my starting Crusader end up getting the Gamble only AND Pray only stress heal...rendering him unable to heal ANY stress at all! ...damn, gotta spend cash to remove that in the sanitorium...

Give me cute or give me...something?Got this game recently (as you can probably tell by my current avatar). I'm enjoying it, although it's proving to be extremely difficult, and I'm not very good at it at all (Ended up deleting my save file to start a new one because I screwed up majorly, although that's mainly due to me not understanding how to deal with stress the first time through)
It looks just about amazing, but I'm not too keen on spending 20 Euro for it, as much as I'd love to. Oh, the painful life of a dorm-stuck student.
Looks like an insta-buy once the price goes down on some sale or something though.
How do lizards fly?...the fuck? The Sanitarium NEVER cures negative trait that you ACTUALLY selected at treatment screen? Or it's just do one randomly?
Give me cute or give me...something?Haven't played it yet, but I'm pretty sure the traits are meant to be cripplingly long lasting. That's what they played them up to be - it would be too easy to walk into a pharmacy or healing station and just wipe them away.
Er, you can cure it, but it's not cheap...at all. And the fact that upgrading said building is EXPENSIVE in terms of increasing available slot, so you're gonna have to only treat 1 person at a time until you can upgrade that. And treatment takes time, like stress reduction, so you can't just spam it. Trust me, trying to cure a person with 3 or more maladies takes FOREVER, and not cheap.
The problem I have is that the game says I can select specific malady to treat, but when the result happens, the one I did NOT select was cured instead.

Give me cute or give me...something?So, can your characters start the game utterly crippled and unable to be adventurers? "Ha ha, fuck you player, Roguelike says you lose"?
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Haven't gotten any characters that have had bad enough traits to be outright crippled from being adventurers, although there are some nasty trait combinations (any traits that make it so you can only heal stress one way when combined with another makes it literally impossible to heal stress unless you cure one).
You get at least 2 adventurers before every dungeon, though, so you'd have to have insanely bad luck to be screwed over completely, and well, if you do have that much bad luck, then I don't think rogue-likes are a genre you'd enjoy, anyway.
I have yet to see that personally, though I've only done one save, and when recruiting heroes aside from the starter two, you may right-click their portrait to look at their quirks so you know what you'll be getting.
That sounds like a bug to report to me. I have never seen it fail.

If there is one major complaint I have, it's that if a total party wipe happens, it's hard to get back to a reasonable amount of money. I ended up deleting my first save file due to falling far enough behind on gold that I couldn't actually buy anything on the "dungeon preparation" screen, and the dungeons just are unfair and not fun if you don't have any torches, shovels, or food to deal with it.
I'm afraid I can't provide feedback on that as I have yet to experience once. I don't like said things to happen and have retreated from the quest quite a bit.
^Umm, why are you linking your email folder that we can't see because its not our email folder? <_<
