Sorry if that's a wrong place for this.

I think that articles for Avengers Arena and Avengers Undercover should be merged. I'll try to describe the reasons the best I can. I apologize for any isntances of bad english on my part, it is not my first language.

First of all, it's more in line with usual treatment of comic book sequels on the tvtropes. We don't have separate pages for The Strange Talent Of Luther Strode and The Legend of Luther Strode. The Infinity Gauntlet covers original story, Infinity War, Infitity Crusade, Infinity Abyss, Marvel Universe: the End and probably will also cover Thanos: Infinity relapse Marvel is publishing this year. There are cases in which we give specific series or miniseries or run their own article, Spider Man has separate pages for Joe Straczynski's run, One More Day, Brand New Day, Spider Island and Superior Spider Man, but it's generally reserved for characters who, like Spider-Man, have been around so much their own articles started to overgrow with tropes and who have been subjected to different takes on them by different writers - out of those Spider-man titles they all potray character differently and only last two are written by the same person. Meanwhile characterisation in undercover is supposed to be direct result of Arena and it's take, not to mention both works being done by the same people.

Second, many entries on the main article, YMMV page and characters page will be redundant, repeating tropes carried from one work to another. Honestly, I see little to no point in having character page when out of main cast three characters have already entries on character pages for two different articles and the rest has one each, which are pretty small. The same goes for characters that will join them - Baron Zemo already has entries on two separate character pages, one of which (Captain America) is pretty decent already, or should have their own articles, like Daimon Hellstrom, who starred in several solo books for years. You could also make case that Zemo's ties to multiple franciches - Captain America, Avengers and Thunderbolts, should qualify him for one. We have separate entries for multiple-mtitles villaisn like Doctor Doom, Loki and Thanos. It would be better management of server space to, instead of giving Undercover cast new page, simply use already existing one on Arena article, with separate section for characters who join in sequel, mostly with a list of links to their own entries on different articles, like X-23 on New Mutants characters page.

Third, most of fans of Avengers Undercover are probably fans of Avengers Arena, for which it would be much easier to navigate the site and read the articles to get complete list of tropes in this dilogy, if they were only one article, not two. It would be especially good for fans with poor internet connection.

Fourth, Avengers Undercover is one big spoiler for Arena, mentioning it anywhere else on the wiki means risk of spoiling latter's ending to potential new fans. Even the page picture is alreadya huge spoiler, giving out several of the survivors. The way to avoid it would have to be covering entire article in spoilers, which we probably don't want to do. Spoilered additions to tropes on Arena article, maybe preceeded by "In the sequel" or "in Undercover" seems to be much more elegant solution to me.

Again, I apologize for all mispelling and grammar. I hope this is right place to ask for it and what I said isn't against any rules.

Courtesy links to the pages: Avengers Undercover and Avengers Arena, because they are namespaced.

While I would be careful with making assumptions about who is the fan of what, I have no opinion on the other arguments.

Oh I just saw this.

I wouldn't be opposed, just that Undercover spoils Arena so we would have to be careful.

I support the motion of merging the two pages and getting rid of the character pages. Undercover Characters page is pretty empty and I would much rather expand the already big character pages in the Runaways and Academy character pages than fill a new page with pretty much the same tropes or just the very few that will be added on this series.
