When Bucky cleared out the table and gathered all the medical supplies, in the split second he took his eyes off the table - "Hey there, Bucky." - he would instead see a beautiful, six-armed woman sitting on table in a lotus position and her arms in various positions, not unlike some type of Hindu statue crafted by some obsessed sci-fi nerd.

"You have a visitor, I guess," the woman said. Despite her eyes being closed, the Winter Soldier would still feel her gaze squarely upon him.......as well as the fact that she literally appeared out of no where, having completely bypassed all the hideout's booby traps and security precautions, and well as completely going under both his and Slade's detection.

Bucky froze for only an instant at the sound of a strange voice. But only an instant. Immediately his hands went for the pistols in their holsters, drawing them and aiming them straight for the intruder, dropping to a knee to make a smaller target of himself. He didn't start firing just yet, but he was tensed and ready, prepared to start squeezing triggers the very second the stranger moved. "Slade, stay back!" he called out in warning.

Easing back into life one step at a time

Jason took a deep breath and said "Sorry about that, that demon side of me is a curse,an abomination, a punishment. But I assure you that demon or not my loyalties are clear. After my curse I began to study magic and even if I am not as knowledgeable as my mistress,judging by it's design I think this might be ancient norse, probably related to that guys in jump city that claims to be Thor." He then paused for a moment and asked two face "What is your goal in life master, I am sure that someone like you isn't doing this just for money are you?.

"His true motives certainly aren't clear , but I they will certainly regret if they try to harm you just like this Yelena will. But once again you have proven to be the most inteligent and strongest of them all, This "Slade" and this "Silvermane" did made the fatal mistake of underestimating you." She said with her arms closed. She then pointed at her crystal ball and said "I will certainly keep a close eye on our possible enemies but if you ever need to see them when I am not around, just think of the person you need and my crystal ball will show you their present and if you are willed enough their past and their future.

   Oh god, here we go. Give em the cliffnotes version, preferably without the life story included please. We don't have all night to hear you spout your bullshit.

   No promises, need to make this tolerable somehow.   

"Once, we went by the name Harvey Dent. We were the district attorney of Gotham City. We took office with one goal. To eliminate the corruption in the city and get rid of the mob's stranglehold over the city."

   And boy, did he do a good job of that. Bet he'd have thought twice bout that if he knew who was gonna replace em.   

"At the time, we were working through some....issues."

   Understatement of the year.   

"We developed a temper, started snapping at the slightest things. Started going through depression. Started blacking out at night, only to wake up in a back ally holding a bottle of beer or other such scenes."

   That was a fun night.   

"We chalked it up to stress. Got some mediation, and for a while, it worked. Then, during a trial, the man we were prosecuting sneaked a bottle of acid past the guards and threw it in our face. When we saw our face in the mirror, that was when we became fully aware of each other's existence."

   He tried to get rid of me, oh did he try. But I wasn't going anywhere.   

"In that time, we saw what had happened to our city. The mob was weakened, only to be replaced with a different brand of criminal. The insane, the unpredictable. We watched as they walked off on a technicality on some days, and on others, were just sent to Arkham to get "treatment". It was this that convinced us that the justice system was fundamentally flawed. Something else had to be done to control it.

   This was when we made a deal.   

"I knew that the only way to control crime effectively was to have power over those who commit it. "

   And I really wanted to make money and kill shit   

"So we came to an agreement of sorts. We would form a gang, and work to take control of the streets. To control the crime."

   To profit off of it!    Two Face's phone beeped, and he stopped his speech to check it for a moment.

Upon hearing the warning, Slade immediately pulled out a pistol from its holster, clicking security off and turning around to point at the intruder, still holding onto Karate Kid. He narrowed his eyes, his finger caressing the trigger, ready to shoot... but he didn't. "You bypassed my security systems. You won't get out so easily. Explain your methods before we dispose of you." He demanded, carefully, aiming right at Spiral's head, holding his breath.

"Atom transference from one location to another through the use of thaumaturgy to manipulate etheric energy to facilitate in the transference, which include matter phasing through solid objects, at a rate of one billion miles per yoctosecond," Sprail explained. "Or in layman terms, MAGIC!" Her lower arm, made an arc with her hands, creating a small rainbow, while her other hands made light constructs of blossoming multicolor flowers with beautiful harp music coming from absolutely no apparent source whatsoever.

As he hurtled back towards the ground, Lobo whistled for his 'hog. Within seconds Spaz Frag 666 was underneath Lobo and roaring through the night sky. Despite knowing he'd fled from a perfectly good fight, Lobo's mind was more or less focused on business at the moment. Gettin' paid ta just frag around the city for a couplea weeks wasn't a bad deal, 'specially considering that he hadn't heard anything from the LEGION guys in a while. For now though, Lobo was more than happy to take a ride around the city and see what trouble he could get into without violating any contracts.

After dumping Val off in front of Slade's place, 'cause God knows he couldn't take a fuckin' cape into his house now, could he? That would just be taking it too damn far. Anyway, after all of that, Silvermane took Yelena back to his apartment building and handed her a spare key.

"You can have the room next to mine." He said as he started undoing his necktie. "Just don't bother me between 12 and 6 in the morning. It's not that I need my sleep, it's because I am medically dead, and you'd be wasting you're time." Tie in one hand and his suit jacket slung over one shoulder, he frowned at Yelena. "Are you gonna take the mask off or what?"

"Anyway I think this world is rotten and the evil of men can only be controlled not changed. Superheroes are fools to think you that you can change that or that Justice even exists. Demons are better than humans when you think about it, they have no choice but to be evil but a human is another matter, they can be good yet they choose to be evil.

Jason then gave his hand toward two face and said "We are very alike we both have two opposite sides that are equally strong, isn't that what is the closest we can get to Justice?. The best we can hope to do is control evil. Whoever that can understand that has my most sincere loyalty.

Morgan took a few moments to see her crystal ball before saying to Etrigan " I see that you have the sword, good job bring it to me when you finish helping our ally" she commanded him.

She then turned back to Tara and said with a warm smile "Thank you, I am most grateful. As you can count always with me, remember Tara you aren't alone anymore, you have us.

   Oh, you might be able to scare the typical criminal scum into obedience, sure, but there will always be people like us, the so called "Supervillans" or whatever label you want to throw on us. People who look at the established rules and systems, and shit all over them.    Two Face turned to the driver.

"When we get there, pull in back, they'll be waiting to unload the take."

"Got it, boss." The goon said.

   People like us, we don't have any bosses or higher power figures but ourselfs. Even Dent can't keep me fully in check, and we're the same person! However you try to control us, we will find a way around it. You are doomed to fuck up and fail.

   You can kill as many of us as you want, but one of two things are gonna happen. One, you fuck up and get killed off by one of em. Maybe we can't kill you, but there are plenty of others out there that can. Two, assuming you pull it off, others will rise and take our place, and they might be even worse. I'll say it again, you are doomed to fail, demon.    As Two Face said this, the truck pulled into the back of the courthouse, and some goons ran in back to start unloading.

"Alright, you two done? We've got things to do."

   Just trying to save you dumb shits some time and effort, but I'll enjoy laughing when you fuck it up.

Slade's Hideout

Val struggled out of Slade's grasp, trying to fall down so that he could help with the situation. "Let me assist you!" He grumbled to the man holding him.

The Waterfront

The bullets stopped.

"HIJO DE UÑA—"

With no option left, the Flamingo jumped out of the window, falling through the air in all of his pink glory and hitting the ground with the satisfying- for Will and Garfield- sound of bones cracking. Clutching his legs, the Flamingo yelled out, but his yells were covered by the sound of the explosion that took out the upper half of his apartments. "Pendejos!" He yelled out, trying to crawl away from the situation, a clearly broken left leg dragging him down. "Malditos! Muerte a su madre!"

The Apartments

Yelena looked up at Silvermane, nodding, reaching and pulling out her mask, letting damp blonde hair flow slightly freely, her tongue going over her dry lips, a hand removing the sweat from her forehead.◊ "I will serve you in the best of my capabilities, Serebrogriva." She held the key near to her, continuing her speech. "I have been trained in the arts of subterfuge, espionage and assassination. My code entails that I must protect you with my life in return for what you have done to mine. As long as I have the necessary equipment, all those who wish to harm you will be destroyed swiftly and mercilessly." She spoke, no pauses, no stutters, before bowing to Silvermane and entering her room.

"What you just said is not physically possible with current technology. Atom transference at such rate is not humanly possible, matter phasing through solid objects can only be achieved through small distances and would never work against the reforced walls, thaumaturgy cannot be applied to a scientific environment, neither can etheric energy-" Click of a gun. "-and travelling such a distance in a yoctosecond would splatter you against the floor due to the laws of physics. So, like he said," He nodded towards Bucky, letting go of Val as he walked closer and closer so that his gun was inches away from Spiral's forehead. "Leave the way you came."

"Ooooooo-kaaaaeeeeee......." Spiral said, shrugging her three pairs of shoulders. She then suddenly vanished into thin air. If Slade, Val, or Bucky were expecting some sort of sign that she teleported, they did not have it. No puff of smoke, no sounds, no bright lights. Just.....gone, no trace of an intruder at all, not even one with invisibility.

There was a knock at the hideout door.

Slade looked at Bucky, and then at the door. "We know it's you!" He yelled at the radio, the sound being replicated through outside intercoms he often used to play sounds that would scare anyone who was getting too close to the hideout. "Stop playing games!"

"Alright, alright, I'll get to the point," Spiral said from right behind Slade. "But first, can you and Bucky calm down. I'm not going hurt you, since you two are way to entertaining to risk injuring."

"Excuse us from reacting to someone who just broke into our hideout like it was someone who just broke into our hideout." Slade narrowed his eyes. "Now, tell us why you're here."

"Alright, Mr. Grumpy Gus," Spiral said to Slade. "But first, let me help out with your new boy toy." She then zapped Val with a blast of pink energy. Karate Kid would soon feel all the wounds he sustained in the earlier fight almost instantly healing. She then fired a blast of blue energy at Val, concentrating on his head but looking unaffected.

"Now that's taken care of, I'm here to tell you that there's going a United Nations summit here in Hub City, and I want you and Bucky kill someone during the event, specifically the King of Markovia and anyone defending him," Spiral explained.

However, it would be become apparent to Val that the second blast the alien hit him with was some sort of spell that, to his own perception, blotted out key parts of what she said. Slade and Bucky would hear her normally. Worse yet, if Val himself spoke, he would find everything he said drowned out by censor bleeps.

The old witch turned back to Tara and said in a relaxed tone

"It's an ancient norse sword I have followed for some years.A Legend says that whoever is worthy shall receive great power from it. Unfortunately the last who tried wasn't worthy and died a painful death as he felt how he slowly lost all his flesh. I wouldn't like you, my dear, to try it. Not that I don't think you aren't worth it, as you have more worth than hundreds of enchanted swords. But the idea of being "worthy" to the norse is too savage for my tastes, very unlike my worthiness enchantments. But if you so desire I can bring it to you."
