Bumping; in part because I've added another part and just in the hopes of getting a response.
One more bump because why not?
Interesting.
First person is always a challenge to pull off, but you seem to be doing well.
The first chapter captured my interest though. I like odd races and I see the promise of several.
The fact that the main character couldn't make the connection to Atlantis is interesting. The fact that people know what solar flares are does make this seem markedly different from most other stories of people being trapped in magical realms.
I'll probably spend some time reading this, then. I'm not much good at reviewing.
Well I am glad you find the story interesting; that's the most important thing.
And yes, this magical realm is meant to stand out from the usual ones; real life science and several of the less plausible variations have plenty of influence over the story and its world.
Thank you for reading!

I've been writing a serial novel (for pleasure, for practice, and perhaps even for praise but really mostly the first two), and as of today I feel that I have enough entries online to make it worth advertising to internet strangers.
My story begins with teenagers in a magical world and will hopefully intersect and play with as many genres and scenarios as I can think of. Currently it's a little more lighthearted than not, but who can say which direction I'll take things? There are four chapters online currently (each divided into four parts), with many more to come.
Here it is! I hope anyone who reads it enjoys it, and I'm always open to criticism, here on the forums or in the comments section on the website itself. Or via some other form of communication, if you'd prefer.
