I like that buuuuut I think we need a before because we just might, never assume familiarity even with something you think of as something everyone will get.
Sounds like a sound plan!
I agree.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI think it's fine as it is.
what is? the suggestion by itself or the article with no image?
The suggestion, sorry.
I think he meant the first one. I'd say this would fall under "Not Actually JAFAAC". See the examples and qualifications on Just a Face and a Caption. What else could he possibly be doing with that facial expression and feeling his body? It's subtle, but it works. Secondly, if you are on this page, then you are probably at least familiar with Pinocchio. Just Google Image search "Pinocchio" and the Disney version is practically all you see, despite the story being much older. It's safe to say that very few tropers would not know who Pinnochio is or what he looks like, or even him becoming a real boy, and even fewer would even come across this page.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Well, no. I dislike the idea that if for a pic you're not aware of the context then go google it because if you're going to have a general guideline to take the path of least assumption when it comes to pics then what's the point in that guideline? Besides, what exact harm does it bring by having a before pic alongside the after? It's not that redundant in my eyes.
I'd like one with a before picture.

Sure that's not such a bad thing to ask. before
I like that, but think it looks better 350 px tall (and brightened)◊.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.better for now.
That works well enough.
A'ight. That works.

uhhh.... NO!
Edit ok perhaps just as crude but, "What is this thing you call genitals?"

@13 is good, I don't like @17 much and the anatomy looks fishy as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanFor a caption, how about something like "Now I'm so hungry, I could murder a salami pizza!" ?
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMI like it better as a single image.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Like this?
I like that better too.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.... I don't see an issue with both, the singles simply don't tell the trope and would be pulled if they were from a work with far less familiarity to those here.
I completely concur.
They do need some spiffing up like 22.1 though, they're real dirty.

You probably guessed what I was going to suggest, nonetheless it is the Ur-Example. [1]◊ I'm going to argue against JAFAAC because: 1) Most people know what wooden Pinocchio looks like (It's engrained in pop culture), and 2) His reaction clearly shows that he's new to being human. If it's really a problem, we can always add a "before" picture.
