Yeah, that's what I was going to say. He definitely fits more there than here.
Also, my vote goes to Karate Kid too.
...Wait, did you say he went to Venus?
Drat and double drat...
Hm. Guys, I'm having a thought. Sivana may be more light-hearted than most, but there's a few baddies in the Marvel Family Rogues Gallery that have the potential for darkness. Like, say, the grim amoral counterpart with a god complex, or a scheming hyper-intelligent creature that can crawl inside your brain and control you.
Mister Mind would be great for a first arc villain. Nothing unites enemies quite like an alien invasion.
If I had that kind of power, I'd have dropped a meteor on your house ages ago~It just seems weird that the grim and dark RP starts with an alien invasion.
An invasion led by a Venusian brain-caterpillar, no less.
It's like if Jump City, the wacky RP, started with everyone having their families brutally murdered and then finding out they all have radiation cancer.

I'll look around for someone more befitting a grimdark atmosphere then...
To be fair, Mr. Mind and Black Adam are the only Captain Marvel Rogues who aren't played for laughs. Yes, only the caterpillar and Captain Marvel's counterpart are the most serious concepts from the Captain Marvel Rogues.

Wizard Needs Food Badly
Mr. Mind is the one responsible for creating Red She-Hulk, using his power to take control of one of the scientists involved with the then scrapped project and doing it anyway behind General Ross's back, using Betty as the guinea pig! :D
"Well before, I did it with reckless abandon. Now I can't control myself!" ~ Jesse Cox, 2014Anyway, does anyone else have any preferences on the Karate Kid/Red Hood issue?
I think the current origin is just fine.
Go with Karate Kid. Jason Todd would seem to be a tad too young to be Batman's second sidekick according with the timeline of the RP.
"Well before, I did it with reckless abandon. Now I can't control myself!" ~ Jesse Cox, 2014Not really, Nightwing has appeared in New York and Jump City, and he seems old enough.
However, Nightwing recently graduated from college at the start of the RP.
"Well before, I did it with reckless abandon. Now I can't control myself!" ~ Jesse Cox, 2014Yeah, but the guy who did that disappeared, and when he appeared in Nightwing, it looked like we were ignoring that- especially because it was implied that the Flash and Nightwing were friends when they were kids and have the same age, and since the Flash is already a working man, so is Nightwing.
I am rather partial to the Jason Todd idea if only for the fact that Bucky Barnes and Jason Todd get to meet.
Wizard Needs Food BadlyI am also partial for the same reason.
My choice is for the Karate Kid because he sounds more interesting. Red Hood sounds a lot like my Slade, in my opinion, and a Karate Kid who wants to bring real change and who's hunted by the League of Assassins sounds like much more fun. Plus, it brings in the League!"
Well it seems like Red Hood is outvoted three to one. Guess I'll be putting Karate Kid up on the list.
Hey, wait, doesn't my vote count?
...
... I vote for Karate Kid.
Jason Todd and Bucky meeting seems pretty cool to me. And Under The Red Hood was awesome.
"You're an enemy of art and I pity your ignorance" - Domingo Montoya Help save the rainforest for free simply by going to Ecosia.org.I vote for Karate Kid as well.
My various fanfics.
Well, crap. Now I can't actually decide whether to allow in Karate Kid or Red Hood. My gut says Red Hood, but the profile you've made for KK is pretty good.
Uncandescent: Hm, that might be a point. That's not to say, though, that some lightness wouldn't go amiss in all the grim and dark. Although if I bring in the Marvel Family to fight him, they might stick out even more. I could see if I can justify having Billy Batson grow up in the worst dump in america, without having him be (eugh) New 52 Billy.
In any case, Winter Soldier is accepted.
