[up] The sleep one does not surprise me at all. As a frequent insomniac, it does worry me a little. The asthma one is also hopeful, even if I only seem to have asthma issues in one geographic location.

Because hexagons are very versatile and strong? And they can be split into six parts? That's why I always thought honeybees made combs in the shape of hexagons . Oh wait I think I may have already watched that vid

@lionfish "study," that information is pretty much common knowledge amongst people who keep marine fish and invertebrates. You can find references to it pertaining to other marine fish dating back to the 1930's and maybe hundreds have done similar experiments, though I don't think most have been properly documented.
