Oh I thought you meant it as in another name for acne.

I have never heard that, I'm not even sure of the correlation between zits and pits.

I like the "meme" caption suggestion. Seems like a clever, concise description of the trope.

Pits are the recessed scar tissue left behind from severe acne.

I'd actually forgotten about that reference..."armpits" makes the caption more clunky but it might be better.

Let it go for me. I don't think it really needs a caption.
