.... Disney DID show the first teaser for The Princess and the Frog a full 18 months prior to its release! Plus, with how Pixar has no movie in 2014, they'll wanna spread the word and keep themselves relevant.

you know, I hate to say this, but if they hadn't made the f****** decision to close down it's Vancouver branch, PIXAR could still be cranking out shorts to preserve their relevancy right now.
Just sayin'

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction. They care more about image than quantity. At least that's what their public announcements say.
And they've hardly lost their relevancy.
The 'one movie per year' is not something they've had since the beginning. I don't think one missed year - done in order to give themselves the time they need to get their movies right - is not going to be much of if any kind of issue for them.
Yeah, Finding Nemo came out like three years after Monsters,Inc.
And we have our short title. As in the title of the short film. Not a short title like Frozen or Tangled, yadda yadda.
Surprised they didn't call it "Molten".
Or Heated.
Better be about Dinosaurs.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.I had a dream about the movie. At one point 2 emotions fused to create "Maturity".
Something tells me I'm gonna like the purple guy. Is he fear or sadness?
Fear.
Red is Anger, Green is disgust, Blue is sadness.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectWhy does Fear not look like a villain? For some reason, I think he'll be a Heel–Face Turn type of character.
Err? Since when was Fear supposed to be the villain?
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Something about "fear, anger, and disgust" running the show mentioned in the summary.
He's the representation of the main character's sense of fear, so it makes sense that he looks terrified rather than terrifying.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Zooming in, I notice the emotion characters' skins have texture. Anger's skin looks like glittery styrofoam! They have an almost hand-crafted look which I really like.
Okay I have never heard of Super Meat Boy.
The human girl's design makes me creepy out. Yet the emotions don't scare me as much.
It's because her pupils are completely uncovered making them look unnatural, and she is staring directly into your soul.
,Heh, I guess I should have linked to something that actually shows what Meat Boy looks like instead of a page with an overly edgy and detailed version of him.
It wouldn't be out of place for them to show a teaser sooner rather than later, given how Pixar has regularly attached teasers of their next movie to whatever the most recent Pixar release is.
