Don't say Cheetahmen...
God Damnit! That song is back in my head!
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceHow about Disney's Adventures of Monkey Island? It takes place after Escape from Monkey Island, and all revolves around Le Chuck trying to get walrus powers.
Signatures are for lamers.Does that game even exist? Or is it some sort of ROM hack?
EDIT:Oh, I now see. And if they were to make something like that, it'd be a pipe dream, since we don't even get a Monkey island movie! WTF Disney?

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceTV series kind of rank a bit lower than full movies, I'd think. I think a cartoon series is more likely to happen is what I mean.
I already imagine how it goes. First season is wacky hijinks where Guybrush needs to stop Le Chuck from gaining the required artifacts, and at the end of the season you'd think he succeeds when he defeats the demon walrus Le Chuck, but then he hears from the Voodoo Lady that he needs to construct a certain cursed cutlass in order to finally defeat the ghost pirate once and for all.
The end of the second season ends where Tales of Monkey Island begins.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatNo, it ends with Guybrush heading to retrieve both his wife and ship, while preparing the cursed cutlass of Kaflu.
Signatures are for lamers.People would think a Monkey Island cartoon would be a Pirates ripoff.

They could run with that anyway. It'd make a nice running gag.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Aw, I liked that part. If I was doing a Monkey Island show, that'd be either my "We don't know if this is getting continued so fuck it" ending, or my "This show's been going on way too long, so we're torching the whole thing, flicking the bean at the audience because none of it happened" ending. If it did get picked up again, nobody would ever comment on the amusement park again.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatWell, if it doesn't get renewed, fans could go, "Just play Tales of Monkey Island". If it does get renewed, they could set it AFTER Tales of Monkey Island, while having the first two episodes of season three be like a clip show, but without the clip part.
Signatures are for lamers.Wow! You must really have high hopes for a MI series!
I'd kind of like to see how they would make a Metal Arms : Glitch in the system series. Make it kind of an affectionate parody to Transformers, mabey?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceCrash the Bandicoot?
To be honest, I never played the PS 1 games. But I played CTTR and was a funny cartoon. A playable one, with chickens and monkeys with dynamites as projectiles.
It's perfect to be a cartoon.

What is anime? Anime is...only a weeaboo way of saying animation, really.Unfortunately, Radical Entertainment now owns the rights for now. And the last game(Mind over mutant) was so "By-the-numbers, LEGO-like, collect-a-thon" that I think any hope for a series on TV is doomed to become Deader Than Disco and Seinfeld Is Not Funny. The clips in it which parody South Park and chibi animes, I wouldn't mind seeing Crash in that style in game or show.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceYou know what would make a great poor man's version of the new Sailor Moon series? What about a full Kendo Rage animewith all the 90's humor and surealism intact? I'd sure like to see how badly they sexualize everything.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI'm sure people would flock to Adult Swim if a Team Fortress 2 mini-series was ever made; the things that can be made using the Valve's Source Filmmaker can easily rival that of other CGI cartoons like Cartoon Network's Star Wars series with some more digital spit and polish.
What about a Bayonetta OVA? If they had the same team from the cutscenes work on it, it's bound to be just as good as a TF 2 mini-series.

I know its not even out yet but Wildstar likely would be a pretty nice cartoon with some comedy and Fridge Horror mixed in considering the new IP....
