He's just a pretty boy killing chicks because he's got mommy issues.
Joker is an equal opportunity murderer, and he doesn't kill people to validate his momrection.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! He doesn't have a momrection. I wonder whether he has any kind of rection at all.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Batrection.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."That actually rolls off the tongue quite well. "Batrection".

The Barbara who gets shot by the Joker is Jim's daughter. His ex-wife in the comics, who this one is presumably based on, is also named Barbara.
And there's the possibility that Jim's eventual wife will be willing to name their daughter after his tragically deceased ex.
I also wouldn't count anyone but the big names surviving to the Batman era. Particularly the ones who are already at the same position as they are best known for.
Am I a good man or a bad man?
I know, the Killing Joke. I thought there was a Barbara Gordon that had been shot and actually killed by the Joker?
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Might be a mix up.
Barbara Gordon (Batgirl), Jim's daughter, was shot and paralysed by the Joker in The Killing Joke.
Sarah Essen, Jim's second wife, was shot and killed by the Joker at the end of No Man's Land.
I don't want to read earlier comments (stanard fear of spoilers). I stopped watching gotham around the time there hiatus has begun. I'm missing around 3 episode plus the one tonight and my question is:
Does Gotham improve in the last episode and as the general trend? For me, it is on the verge of being worth to watch so maybe if there was positive trend I have motivation to catch up.
Sorry to bother, but the average opinion on TV Tropes forums seems to be close to mine and it is high time to benefit from it.
They're clearly using this season for tooling, so I think it will only get the full benefit of focus next season. Which is to say, it's probably gonna be good, but they're still making adjustments.
New one in a few.
Honesty is the basis of a lasting relationship.
Also, Ed chopped up the body of Officer Whatshisface.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! So judging by the end of last episode, and the start of this one, I think ol' Barbara likes the S&M stuff.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."I missed last week's episode, but the Ogre definitely still reminds me of that guy from Outlast.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Beat me to it.
I don't know whether disposing of the evidence of a crime using a police station is genius or idiotic.
Ah, so Penguin doesn't actually intend to kill Maroni. Hence the the message before the attack. He wants the hitman to fail and Maroni to react to what was said.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I wonder where Fish fits into all of this.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."And Babs' Scrappy pile just keeps growing and growing.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Barbara could have chosen any mobster in Gotham and she chooses her parents?
Well then.
Ed's first crime riddle. They grow up so fast.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Presumably she wasn't thinking of people she didn't know while he had a knife to her throat. It's likely the Ogre wouldn't buy that anyway.
Barbara's made lots of shitty decisions in this show and has been more of a Conflict Ball than a decent character, and in many respects this arc is more evidence of the latter, but I wouldn't add being tortured into admitting her sordid family history to a serial killer and then being forced to watch as said serial killer murders her parents because of it to the pile of the former.
If anything, the writers have moved on from making her a character who causes conflict by making the exact wrong decision at any time to a character who causes conflict by being a victim. In regards to her character, this is the least she's been at fault all season. The writers who contrived this shit, on the other hand...
