Think that, if Jim does end up having a daughter, they'll name her Cassandra, Stephanie, or even Carrie? Face it, the Barbara here isn't very deserving.

Wake me up at your own risk.

Quite true.

Of those names, I prefer Carrie and Cassandra.

I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agency

Lee isn't going anywhere. Not even death will keep you away in this show, as Jerome can attest.

Considering most characters brought back from the dead got killed again I don't think she would come back or if she did she wouldn't last long exactly.

This episode took a few unexpected turns. I didn't see Katherine dying or Lee injecting herself with the virus coming at all. The latter I definitely approve of, better to go out with a bang.

As a counterpoint, as much I enjoyed their initial spiteful neighbours routine, the whole Trapped by Mountain Lions side plot going on with Ed and Oswald didn't seem to really to advance the story to any direction. Well, at least this was over in one episode, rather than the slow plodding marathon we had with Fish and Dulmacher back in Season 1.

I loved the Dulmacher stuff. It gave us Fish scooping out her own eye and stepping on it, and that's easily one of the top moments from season 1.

Plus it established how insanely charismatic Fish is even before she got super powers (which helped me buy Cat going over to her side in a matter of weeks).

Yeah, Lee's been kind of annoying. They didn't need like 4 or 5 separate scenes of her trying to get the guys to share her suspicions. I'm glad they're going somewhere I didn't expect with it at least.

I agree with people here that the show has been a lot of fun otherwise though.

On Fish and Dulmacher: I also liked that stuff.

Actually, I gave up the show for a long time after the finale blatantly ignored that arc and Fish just came back and Maroni got killed. I had plenty of gripes before, but that was the Jump the Shark moment

Took a lot of convincing to get me to return to it, glad I did. Seasons 2 & 3 are definitely more consistent than the first.

Okay regarding the last episode: Gotta admit, Kathryn being killed off was a shocker, as was The Shaman being a Mole against the Court...I figured The Court tied into Ra's, guess not. Loved how Mad Hatter called Lee out on her BS.

Anyone else suspect Lee's current characterization is based on an ex-girlfriend?

I liked Dulmacher, which is why I think it's disappointing that he was ultimately fed to Fish just to keep her around. It really difficult for me to find her interesting and it still makes little sense as to why Selina was so loyal.

The last episode had some great twists that I didn't see coming, but I also think it strained credibility to the extreme, even for this show. Lots of passing the idiot ball around, lots of unbelievably stupid combat moves (like trying to club Barnes with a shotgun in the midst of Gotham PD Showdown #9), just some real lazy shit going on this time.

But the worst offender is definitely Barnes's costume. I actually had to pause to take it all in and laugh. A leather bra, carbon fiber football shoulder pads (bulletproof, and the only place anyone ever shoots him!), a single shoulder shield, and a leather outfit that says nothing if not power bottom at a BDSM party. The cherry on top is replacing his perfectly good hand with something that already looks like a prosthetic (I had to rewind to remind myself whether Barnes had lost a hand and I forgot!), and for some reason implies mechanical parts but does...nothing? Why on earth would a man trained in firearms use this? And why spring a prosthetic hand gimmick *before* taking his hand off? Did this part get outsourced to a coked up monkey?

However it gets mad bonus points for gore and shock factor, it "goes there" in a way that always manages to surprise me. So despite the complete absurdity, this show has always thrived on a big helping of ham and cheese...can't wait to see what happens next.

[up]Considering all of the freaks Strange usually makes, Barnes's makeover is tame by comparison. [lol]
