Tried to commit suicide actually with his ice. Strange brought him back. As for assuming he wouldn't stay dead, if zombie fiction has taught the world anything, it's that headshots solve that problem wonderfully.

I assumed that was the original Alice in Wonderland. But yes, it's pretty obvious that this is the way they're going to introduce Mad Hatter to the series, and a pretty logical one at that. Might be the rest of the Wonderland villains pop up as well.

The Arthurian legend book presumably refers to Morgan Le Fay? No idea who the Shakespeare one could be.

I wonder if they're going to include Humpty Dumpty? If we will, I have a candidate. The big bald guy Galavan knocked out was said to have mommy issues. Sounds familiar... Of course, it might be that the new personalities can be only planted into reanimated people.

Why do feel like there should be a trope for that.

Brainwashed and Crazy is the closest trope we have to what Strange is doing, as far as I know. Deliberately implanting fictional personas into people may be specific enough that few other examples exist. Though since that seems to be a necessary part of the process, the whole thing smacks of Step Three: Profit.

Dr. Strange resurrects Fish Mooney. Won't happen next episode, but the episode after.

I'm pretty surprised. I thought she left the show for good.

I'm glad she hasn't though - I know a load of people didn't really like her, but she was one of my favourites

Fish is great but I feel like she doesn't have much to do. She's a regular mobster in a city that is leaning increasingly towards more fantastic flavors of crime.

Guess it will depend on what Strange does to her.

That might end up derailing the character completely.

I did not mind it with Galavan since he was not a very interesting figure to begin with, and they found a reasonably logical way of incorporating Azrael into the series.
