Cuphead- a 30's-styled, Contra-inspired Run-and-gun indie game

Rumor: the game is appearing on the international Playstation Store.

Rumor: Last Delicious Course has appeared as "available now" on the Xbox Store, might be shadowdropped during the Summer Game Fest Indie Studio Update in less than 10 hours.

It's not a rumor anymore. Cuphead is out now for PS4!

Well, this is surprising.

I also like how they brought back King Dice’s voice actor for that trailer.

And yet Delicious Last Course is still not released yet.

To be fair, considering how much time the main game took to release it's no surprise the DLC is also taking a while. Hell, this question is basically the same people were asking about Cuphead a few years ago, only difference it's just about the DLC

True. Plus the reason they pushed it back to this year is to avoid crunch. Plus I imagine right now covid is also a problem.

dlc looking lit

the song performance and puppet trailer at tga was also amazing, the first tga performance i've actually cared about lol

I've been dying to play this game since the first trailer, but I've been holding out for a physical release. iirc the devs said they'd release the game physically when the DLC was finished. Looks like I'll have my chance pretty soon.

Welp. I know what I'm getting my bestie for her birthday next year. (That's the exact date the DLC drops.)

Here are the reviews of The Cuphead Show:

All the new Cuphead content made me realize that I never actually finished the original game. Sure, I played it a bunch, but put it aside toward the end (King Dice's fight, to be precise) and only played it in bits of pieces since, never finishing the game itself.

Until now, that is.

It's almost comical how much easier the Devil's later stages are in comparison his first stage.

New gameplay trailer from Summer Games Fest. We get more of a look at how Ms. Chalice plays, the three-shooter weapon, and some of Mortimer Freeze's attack phases.

I will never cease to be amazed by how good the animation is for the game. It's always a joy to look at, which is a good thing because I suck at the game, so I'm looking at the animation a LOT.

I thought Ms. Chalice was already released?

No, she's part of the DLC. What I mean is that we see more of how she looks in-game.

I could've sworn she was already released since I remember her being announced around last year or so?

Everything was super delayed because of Covid.

Another fun thing to note: in the base game, the only battle that made you move from one battlefield to another is the Devil's and that was just the one jump (well, King Dice also, but only technically as that was teleportation), while Mortimer seems to have (brief) platforming between stages of the fight to get from part A to part B.

Delicious Last Course is now available on Steam and other platforms.

I'm not gonna give anything away, but holy macaroni this one gets crazy. No wonder it took so long to make.
