huh?
Anyway is Khalid Nassour still going to be Dr Fate in Rebirth?
Hadn't you asked that very same thing in that very same tone like week and a half ago?
And technically Death is already a Sue in the real world. Name me one person who hasn't ever succumbed or will do to it/her.
So I guess the Dials are technology then as opposed to magic?

One Strip! One Strip! They are sort of a combination of both, I think. Just read Dial H, I guarantee you will like it. I mean, c'mon, in the first issue, the main character transforms into "Boy Chimney" and then "Captain Lachrymose," who is fueled by sadness. There's a character called "Open-Window Man," whose power is the ability to travel through windows. And also he's Batman.

According to the DC Encyclopedia, the last things that will ever happen in the universe are Death claiming Destiny and then herself. Dunno the specific issue this was stated in.
In Gaiman's Books of Magic, Death is the last living thing in the universe. In the Sandman issue "Facade," she says: When the first living thing existed, I was there, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

I just found out that Tom Scioli is doing Super Powers back-up stories in Cave Carson, so all my doubts about Young Animal are gone.
You're just in time. Bayble Cuber's going to watch an inkle dribble adventure from days of old on my holo-pyramid viewer.Tom Scioli? Super Powers? YES THANK YOU.
I love his Transformers vs GI Joe.
Here's the full Young Animal preview images: http://www.newsarama.com/30355-dc-sdcc-2016-young-animal-preview-gallery.html
Super Powers looks insane. OMAC Superman! Wonder Twins! Virgin Mary Marvel! Flipper Dipper! Batgirl on a bicycle! I could not be more excited.
You're just in time. Bayble Cuber's going to watch an inkle dribble adventure from days of old on my holo-pyramid viewer....What the hell am I looking at? O_O
Is Khalid Nassour going to be in Rebirth?
Dr. Fate, I think.
Yeah that's who I meant.
We're not sure who the Rebirth Dr. Fate is. It could be Khalid or it could be Kent Nelson, whom they just reintroduced in Doctor Fate #12. Probably the latter, although they might bring back Khalid, too.
Meanwhile, Young Animal looks sick.

I really hope Khalid isn't phased out. That would not look good for DC.
Isn't Khalid safe and sound on Earth-2 or am I behind the times again?
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. His book hasn't been cancelled yet.
But a Doctor Fate did make an appearance in DC Rebirth, it just seemed like it was Kent Nelson (Khalid is newer and still learning the ropes).

I'm pretty sure Doctor Fate is a weird exception to all the books being relaunched. I've heard Paul Levitz has a weird contract with DC where they have to let him write one issue per month no matter what, which might have something to do with it.
We definitely know that Doctor Fate is solicited up to at least issue 17 in October, still starring Khalid and written by Levitz, but I think the Fate appearing in Blue Beetle will be Kent Nelson. Two different Doctor Fates at the same time.
You're just in time. Bayble Cuber's going to watch an inkle dribble adventure from days of old on my holo-pyramid viewer. They have a deal where they check how the book is doing and decide on if it should go on or be cancelled every 6 issues.
I really like Kent Nelson but I think someone who's actually Egyptian does deserve the mantle more.
That would be Khalid, then. He's actually Egyptian-American.
Well, that escalated quickly.
