Just beat the game as swordmaster...boy, not easy...my equipment sucks rather hard...
Now I won with Punching hero...boy, Ze...something weave mix with 5 pro-wrestling is awesome...still, need to be naked...and wish I got my Gale Shield from the vault...would have made the dodge chance much higher...

Give me cute or give me...something?Yeah, the first few runs suck. Not much in the way of good equipment. My first few runs were with Swordsman, it ended in utter failures. But once I started to stockpile the good equipment in the vault, it got better.
Of course, a good tip is to NOT open the vault if you took out items from it and failed to clear the world. That would make the vault to not update, and you to retain the items you had taken out.
Actually the problem I had with that run is that after a certain point, there's no town for me to shop on...also I accidentally didn't pay Panty so he left...only had the queen with me...
Give me cute or give me...something?Oh yeah, the game's in the latest Indie Royale Bundle.
Damn, so the progress doesn't carry over between non-Steam and Steam ver...and I accidentally deleted the non-Steam ver...oh well, let's go at it again.
Give me cute or give me...something?So can you stop or halt Dosey's curse? I swear I recall something involving the fruits she likes, although I didn't get/use enough before she turned.
Nope, you can't. The only way is probably beating the demon lord before she turns...the fruit is only for raising her affection and thus gaining access to her later conversations...and raising her effectiveness.

Give me cute or give me...something?2 Swordmaster and 1 Knight victory over the Dark Lord. I'm going to try all the other Classes to get better feel for the strategy before we try to race the whole game for the 2000km run.
Also cracked 3 items from a holy sanctum. Have a Moon Blade, an Aegis shield, and a Staff of Salacia.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Finished two Hero runs. The second was without Vault, or clothes. The NPC reactions are quite amusing, as is one-shotting almost everything.
Confounded red-star'd Elite Mooks are murder.

I don't know how many of y'all are still playing this game, but an expansion/revision/major update, entitled One Way Heroics Plus was released on the Playism Games store a few weeks ago (and will eventually come to Steam, as well.)
Some of the new additions include:
- Three new character classes: Force Knight (strength of a Knight, intelligence of a Force User), Ninja (fast and uses powerful abilities that are Cast from Hit Points), and Tourist (behaves similarly to the Tourist class from NetHack)
- The ability to expand the starting castle with "Dimensional Coins" and add other NPCs to it
- Numerous new NPCs, items, Force Powers, etc.
- Some balance changes (I've noticed that you seem to gain EXP faster now)
- Skill hotkeys
You can import your save data from the original game into Plus, and it'll still remember what classes you cleared the game with. The stuff kept in your Dimensional Vault will lose its enchantments, though.
I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!Awesome. I don't mind having to re-enchant my loot either.

Somebody should help make a page for the game.
In case anyone's not aware, the gist of the game is this: there's a darkness threatening to destroy the world, and you, as a hero, must travel across the world to face and defeat the Dark Lord to stop the approach....
...well, there's more to it than that, but you have to find it out.
Aside from the normal singlepayer modes, there's also daily challenges, which ranges from recruitable characters to various restrictions (like not having any level ups, or only money drops, and all-merchant NPCs).
Get the game here, and get a steam key once Greenlit (which, as it stands, is guaranteed to. But the issue being, it's not likely to be before January 3, which is when the Winter Sale ends. And Steam seems to have skipped out on the Mid-December batch).
