OMG! When the FUCK will they make another?! I already stated that 4 was still too recent to make a remake, but my God, I can't help but complain, especially since this is their last AE related...thing:
I only played the original for the PS 1, but it's one of my favorite games ever. I hear there's a remake for the PSP, or was it an entirely different game?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I'm still reeling at there being a fourth game.
Last I'd heard, the most recent titles were Million Monkeys and Ape Quest. I never knew there was a fourth.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).The three main ape escape games are near-flawless classics. Perfect mix of clever fun.
Bleye knows Sabers.Yes, there was a remake of Ape Escape 1 on the PSP as one of the launch titles. I had fun with it, and it convinced me to buy the third Ape Escape when it came out.
How the heck do you make an Ape Escape Remake with ONE ANALOG STICK!?
Bleye knows Sabers.Exactly what I was going to ask. It didn't go well for Star Wars Battlefront.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I believe the X button was turned into a jump button (so only 3 gadgets usable at once) and the rest of the controls were altered to make it play more like a traditional 3D platformer.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.lol people in this thread refuse to acknowledge the PS 3 FPS Ape Escape
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Let's show some love for Ape Escape 3. What was your favorite level? Mine, personally, was the castle where you fight Monkey White. It was very atmospheric, and you got your first Morph power there.
"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."The only one I ever played was Ape Escape 2.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I used to own 2, and I still own 3 and fully beat it ages ago. Before I looked up Pumped and Primed cutscenes, I was honestly stumped as to what the deal was with that secret movie.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987I just Apes Escape One released on PSN. I don't get why that's so hard.
Also, Specter is wearing a thong on his head.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. It's good to hear I'm not the only one who was creeped out by the secret movie. I was playing late at night when I saw that too. I couldn't find it on Youtube either, so I started to think that it wasn't real and it was just some creepypasta thing that I had hallucinated.
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierCan someone care to explain what that is?
Now's it's Shulk Time!Oh yeah I remember that. Pumped And Primed was weird.
Bleye knows Sabers.Ape Escape got a new Twitter account...and a tease for something?
New Ape Escape for PS 5?
@nomurd2d: I think that movie details the birth/creation of the Pipotrons, but I could be wrong.

Looks like info coming this year. I would guess at the PS 5 full reveal conference.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Interesting, but I can't read Japanese. And how reliable is Google Translate again?
Also, ever since I've learned about the existence of the Project Kidz prototype that eventually became the first Ape Escape and the concept stuff it had, a part of me wants to see a modern remake of Ape Escape 1 on PS4/PS5 that keeps Spike as the male lead, but add in Helga as the female playable character. For those who don't know who Helga is, she is a girl around Spike's age who was introduced in Ape Escape: Pumped and Primed and then later appeared in Million Monkeys and the Ape Escape anime ''Saru Get You ~On Air~ in both seasons.
Does anyone know who was Spectre's voice actor in the uk release of Ape Escape 1 for the PS1?

"May your heart be your guiding key"I can't find anything on the UK cast of the first game.
Help me. I can't get it out of my head.
Oh god, this song. I'm still amazed that they actually created a music video for the entire song.
It used to take me forever to beat that Blue Monkey bastard too.
