And today's Game Trailer is..... Doki Doki Literature Club!
Oh God why? It's best that you watch/ play Get Out and Doki Doki before watching the Honest Trailers since both of them have big twists.
Because no one should ever play Doki Doki...
It's kind of rude to say nobody should play a game you personally don't like.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? No, they're right. No one should play that game.
No one.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Happy that Doki Doki got some spotlight.
Even worse people, including the devs themselves, have been trying to pass it off as a normal visual novel. and considering the content that is actually malicious.
Uh, the Steam page is dripping with content warnings, which you also have to click through when you start up the game itself. Claiming they're trying to hide it is flat-out inaccurate.

Wow cool, a Get Out trailer. *watches*
That was 99% a cool video until, seriously?! They end a video discussing racism with the stupid “Ugandan Knuckles” meme??
Well shit, glad I never stick around for Bailey reading the comments.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Do u know da wae?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Not funny, still stupid.
All memes are stupid.
Ergo all memes are not funny.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Doki’s like Undertale where a bunch of people relentlessly spammed the comments till it happened.
Still waiting on my Yakuza 0 trailer.
But are all memes racist? Don’t quote those.
Quote “arrow to the knee” instead. Now it can be annoying, without being racist.

I think he meant you shouldn't watch the video BEFORE playing the game, not that you shouldn't play the game at all.
Optimism is a duty. The only thing I know about that game is the twist. People have a harder time not spoiling it than Undertale's.

This song needs more love.Even worse people, including the devs themselves, have been trying to pass it off as a normal visual novel. and considering the content that is actually malicious.
That's the point sergeant
As for Ugandan knuckles: I will agree that it was a bit insensitive to include it in an honest trailer for a movie that's about the marginalization of African Americans but I'm not going to get super upset over it. At the end of the day it's just a dumb fun meme and if you don't like it just remember that memes tend to have a very short lifespan.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?Still a racist meme.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?As someone who's completely ignorant about the Ugandan Knuckles meme, can somebody tell me exactly how it's racist? I tried looking some info up, and apparently it was a VR Chat meme that exploded when people started spamming it? Was it used to make fun of Ugandans, because I don't even know the context people use it for.
It’s racist cause it was a bad deformed model imported into VR Chat created by some You Tuber who labeled it ‘Ugandan Knuckles’. It wouldn’t be racist if it wasn’t labeled ‘Ugandan‘ I think.
Most people though probably don’t know everything and just ride the meme.

The accent itself is racist. It's just a bunch of white people acting out dated and racist depictions of Africa.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Yeah, it literally says that it has content that may be upsetting to those with depression or anxiety and gives you a link to a list of trigger warnings. You need to click "okay I understand" on that page to play the game. Claiming that the devs are hiding its content to trigger people is actually kind of slander.
