All I feel is pain ;~~;
Forget a tutor, what Lily needs is a therapist.
Therapist ain't gonna fix being crippled from birth and expecting to die young.
Lily's crippled? I thought the worst she had was the injury to her eye. Though I should note I only just discovered and archive binged the comic today after I saw a twitter post with a frame of the "bed room" comic.
By the standards of the world ALL possums are. Such as being unable to use a lot of the world's conveniences and then dying at 1/3rd of a usual age.

Heh. I reposted that last panel for an artist friend of mine.
And there was a comic in between the last two posted which is another case of underestimating the scope of work, and also a paean to competent assistants who can summarize.
Late responding, but here goes: I think it's probably a matter of personal viewpoint with a dash of semantics.
On the semantic side, I consider "crippled" to be something personal. Since every opossum is Anti-Magic and short-lived by nature, that strikes me as less "crippled" and more "that's how they're born".
On the personal side, having grown up with an older brother who took a dart to the eye at four, eventually lost that eye in his teen years, and works as a truck driver currently, I can't call not having one eye crippled.
New Years has come and gone, and still no updates
In totally unrelated news, Opossum pouches in action◊ as part of an initiative to check seemingly dead possums for whether they are alive and/or have live young in them.
To quote the blog "I might not be sick anymore, but I still have overdue illustrations and commissions to finish and that’s pretty crummy of me. So until I clear out all of my obligations, Poppy will continue to hold off on comic updates, which should only take this next week or two."
Little more than a week or two, but the point stands.

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireHe said Feb. 3rd on his blog.
Reread this comic from the beginning last night, and hot damn, does it improve exponentially. It starts out cute and engaging but by the end of Part Six it's, uh, wow. Maybe I'm easily won over by clarifications of scope in worldbuilding and consecutive gut punches—OK, that's not even a "maybe"—but I was honestly bowled over.

Look who's back from hiatus
That is blatantly a panel intended to later take out of context.
My angry rant blog! The power of love has nothing on the power of spite.
I'm confused... she's not even in this scene?
She was heading there three pages ago and clearly is now arriving right after don bird has left.
Huh. So they are dating. Petunia must be terribly pleased.
That fourth panel... Ian obviously knows what we want.
