The text bubbles seem hard to read.

Not only that, it seems that it demonstrates Tempting Fate more than this trope.

Therefore, I'll suggest this picture.

[up]The barrels aren't really visible though, since it's dark-coloured and is leaning on a black background.

Some other suggestions.

I like 2.2 best of these. 1.1 and 2.1 have harder to see barrels, while 2.3 seems kind of like a flash of light.

I prefer 11.2 because it looks less grainy.

They don't have to be per se, but I like the fact that the exploding ones are setting off the ones behind them in the DOOM pic.

[up] Yes, 11.2 is my favorite right now, if it weren't for that blasted pixelation. *Arrggg*

Perhaps the same view, but from the HD mod?

Honeslty, the pixelation in 11 is making me reticent to vote for it.

Pixelation? Doesn't it look like that in the actual game?

Maybe, and it doesn't matter. Bad image quality doesn't necessarily become more tolerable because the original work included that too.

You might be right that it doesn't make it more tolerable, but it changes the argument from 'bad quality' to 'intolerable style'.

Which doesn't make a difference. I do not know what the original game has for a quality, either.

It changes from an objective argument to a subjective argument. Which is a difference.

I don't mind it being pixellated as that's exactly what it looked like, that it's "ugly" to someone doesn't have much bearing on if it's a bad image or not short of it affecting interpretation.

15 though is Made of Explodium before anything happens, right?
