Not sure if there were any recordings. Even the Squanchtendo Twitter feed was asking if there would be a feed. A shame, because there was some funny stuff in there, like cheesy powerpoint annotations, shots at market oriented variants (i. e. the "Monster Energy Drink" "HTC Vive"), games with ridiculous sponsorships (Nike, Ellen, Better Caul Saul) that also featured old box art logos (i. e. Super Nintendo, N64, Konami, "E" rating, "Only for"), misconceptions about VR (i. e. will not get you pregnant, will not make you impotent), replicating the 5 senses via VR, etc. And on the ultimate use of VR... going to Gelson's. This is all on my vague recollections. Maybe someone managed to sneak some shots of the slides. It was pretty epic stuff.
I was watching "Anatomy Park" and at the end of the episode Rick calls Dr. Xenon Bloom a genius. Let that sink in for a minute. Rick calls someone, who was not an alternate universe version of himself, a genius. And he meant it sincerely.
I don't think Rick is the type to have qualms about calling other geniuses geniuses. His thing would be more about being challenged as the smartest person in the universe, and that basically seems to be an accepted fact in the universe, so no biggy.
Smart people in Rick's mindset don't get in his way. That's the problem. Intellectuals like to challenge others' intellect or make breakthroughs often at the expense of others, and Rick, being a very self serving person, will often take exception to that.
He's not alone in that mindset really. I mean, Morty's family say over and over that he's dumb, how much does he display of it except not acting like them?

Speaking of that episode that guy Jerry's parents brought over & his mom is having sex with is weird.
He acts way to perfect with some whole spiritual shit to make him seem so worldly & smart.
Kinda sad Rick never got to insult him.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Rick really didn't get along with Zeep Xanflorp AKA Stephen Colbert AKA the mini-verse guy inside Ricks car battery, but I don't know if that's typically how Rick acts around another "genius."
Zeep got in his way. When they were briefly forced to work together they were actually rather affable with one another.
Honestly, Rick generally is only antagonistic toward people if they're getting in his way (whether it's actively or passively). E.g. Note how in the Purge episode he was all about the Purge until he was at risk of becoming a victim of it. Just points more toward his actions being more self-serving than anything else.
(and before someone points out how he helps the girl at the end of the episode, he mostly just did that because of his general hatred of authority figures)
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Rick's pretty consistently a dick to Jerry even when the latter's not doing anything to provoke him. And he did start a feud with the Devil mostly unprovoked.
I like how after the first episode Rick just dropped any pretense of giving respect to Jerry in his own home. It was obviously phony in the first episode too, but still. As far as Rick is concerned it's less they're letting him stay there, and more everyone else just doesn't know everything belongs to him.
Most of Jerry's character challenges or contrasts Rick's. Jerry thinks he should be the guy in charge and all of Rick's scientific endeavours are just dumb destructive crap. Even on passive basis, almost anything Jerry does from Rick's perspective is just incredulously pointless and stupid, hence I don't think he can resist mocking him for it.
Sometimes I also think it's just that Rick has to be jerk outwardly, like the kid who picks on a girl he likes. He did cross the line with Jerry in Season Three's premier but even then, Rick does such horrid things on a passive basis, you wonder just how extreme it is from his mindset, or just a standard tantrum he might get over and inexplicably expect Jerry to forgive him over since Rick's oh-so-obviously a superior being and he could probably reverse it all if he cared enough anyway.
Rick could honestly kill a guy for looking at him the wrong way and then expect no hard feelings because he could instantly revive him with his technology. What is Moral Event Horizon to him?

Now I don't think Morty is any "smarter" from his adventures with Rick, but he has grown from his travels. I think he's "wiser," but I'm not sure that's the right word. I think back to him comforting Summer in the first inter-dimensional cable episode and I think, is that wisdom?
The thing is intellect comes in different realms, the problem is one guy who is smart in one area will think other people are dumb just because they're smart in something else.
He's more mature and is at least smarter in the sense of how experience makes you learn.
as for the Devil, Rick essentially sees himself as "some sort of fucked up god" (as Morty put it), and who is the diametric opposite of God other than the Devil? oh and also the Devil literally tried to drain his intelligence with a microscope so

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I found it hilarious how Summer tried to justify the Devil as a good guy by saying he has a job & is productive to the community.
Seriously is she not aware that he is purposely selling cursed items that could seriously injure or even kill people? He even tried to make her granddad retarded.
He's more like a drug dealer really.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."She was his trap queen duh
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. No, she understood he was evil. As she put it "Is there a place hiring teenagers that isn't evil?"

She honestly was just rebelling against Rick. Again, teenager.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Another galactic federation video was posted on their tumblr. It's about jobs in the post federation galaxy with the final one being very interesting, guarding the "sauce library" a space station where all the greatest sauces in the universe are kept including the fabled "Mc D Szechuan" Sauce.
A simple joke, or could be we seeing a hint towards a future episode?

Summer was trying to make Rick jealous/find a surrogate grandfather. It worked too, even if Rick wouldn't actually admit it.
Are we ever going to see that one Morty from "Close Rick-counters'' again? What was his deal?
^It might've been a one-off gag to screw with people.
