I'm pretty sure they'll try to sell Avengers Disk Wars in the USA to children sooner than later.

Cultural differences makes it hard for anime aimed at kids to get the okay from kids' networks here in the States, due to the fact that Japan is more accepting of fanservice as well as mature themes such as death and substance abuse in their kid-oriented media. Even shows we consider classic kid-oriented animes, such as Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Sailor Moon, and Dragon Ball Z, have featured edits and censorship to various extremes in order to make them more in line with what Westerners think is appropriate for children.
pretty much this.
the concept of bowdlerization is really dead in mainstream anime. it's a lot more expensive to make extensive edits to censor the show for a younger audience than it is to do a straight up faithful dub. this had led most anime to be largely targeted towards teenagers and young adults, even when they're straight up kids' shows like Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece.

Except those who's parents block the web for their children. I doubt any true anime of Shojo caliber will ever make it overseas uncut or with a faithful dubbing. I'll stick with showing my kids uncut animes on You Tube thank you.
