It's less intersex and more third gender to me, for seems to be more of an identity than a physical descriptor.
Well, that's not super-ominous.

Hmm... As was pointed out in the page-comments, I believe, it looks as though Mrs. Torstenn was a priestess herself: note that her actions seem to light the water, the watering-jug, and the lamps hanging above.

My Games & WritingSo yeah, gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, I mean bi. The point stands.CONFIRMATION.
the comment section is a riot.
Jeeze, Kadi just keeps getting more and more annoyed at the mental gymnastics the commenters are going through.
Now that's what I call an awesome accessory.
Damn, the girls eating cake would be quite interesting if I didn't want to know so badly what that other cake-eating lady is up to.
As that other famous monarch (didn't actually) say: "Let them eat cake."
What could possibly go wrong?
A lot, that's what!
That cake looks tasty. :)
Uh oh. The end of the world as we know it ... not good!
But seriously, my hope is the girls use this as leverage for good contracts with their respective spirits.
I just get the feeling Tammy is forming (or restoring, in Imogen's case) a new spiritual nobility.

Is Harris ever gonna find Tammy at some point? And if he does, what'll happen?
I rather hope he will not find her. At least not before he realized that he seriously messed things up by "rescuing" her.
Sounds like a revolution is brewing.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Goddamn, Tammy's mom. Crazy last minute planning much?
(Don't know if this counts as a gambit...)

Bump again.
I don't think a two day gap between updates requires you to say "bump".
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)I thought it did since I posted here like four times in a row.
Then again, I'm probably the only guy updating the Sam & Fuzzy thread and I haven't been saying 'bump' there.
Anyway, you guys remember what Asher said about how "They're just Orphics?" Would anyone else love it if Kadi (the creator of Blindsprings) used that line later on as an Ironic Echo? Preferably if he's undergoing some kind of Sanity Slippage?
Oh wow I somehow lost this thread on my watchlist despite making the damn thing and thought everyone forgot about the comic.
Hi friends.
Oh really when?Hi yourself.
Actually, if anything, I can't seem to remember how I found out about this comic in the first place.
...okay?
If I recall correctly, the artists has stated (perhaps in a previous annotation?) that as a result of the spirits being genderless, non-binary genders (or at least a third gender; I'm not sure) are well-known and considered normal in this setting.
Based on the first part of the word, I would guess that "Duine" means something along the lines of "intersex".
