Context: Tammy, Street, the orphans are teleported away from the building, much to Tristan/Lumens' chagrin.
By the way, anyone getting kinda worried about Imogen right now?
Apparently one of the background kids is getting popular in the comments because of her dissonant happiness (and apparent floating powers) throughout this scene. (She can be seen to the right of the bottom panel in this page and on the upper right of the first panel on this page.

Heh. What a weirdly happy kid.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself. And with that comes the conclusion to Chapter 7!
A word from the author:
In an attempt to fix my current issues with pages, I'll be taking a slightly longer break but there will be more updates???? I have some guest art mixed with annotations coming up, hope you all enjoy them! I absolutely need to make sure I have the entirety of the chapters thumbnails done before I start the next chapter, and considering how enormous chapter seven turned into, its not a small endeavour.
So look forward to 3x a week updates while I'm working on thumbnails, and I hope my near constant drs visits will shake out whatever is wrong with me in the meantime!
So I guess now's a great time for an end-of-chapter discussion! (If only so I don't end up bumping this thread every time a new page is up...)

I liked the flashback in the beginning and the development of Rhiannon's character but looking back I don't think all that much actually happened considering how long it was.

Wooo!
Kinda thought others would join in on the end-of-chapter discussion, but never mind. My thoughts are that admittedly yeah, not much really happens, but the stuff that does happen really made me go "Oh, Christ."
The flashback really shows how Spirits are more than willing to kill off humans while adding layers of grey onto Master Gregoire to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out the people who joined in on his movement joined in for all the wrong reasons. And the spirit chewing out Tammy cements that they (the Spirits) are really lousy parental substitutes.
Plus, the point Rhiannon made about how no one would save an Orphic orphan in the middle of the night to me sounds like so huge a deal that I seriously hope one of the heroes goes all V for Vendetta and lectures the entire town of Kirkhall (or even all of Aberwelle?), saying they're monsters for even allowing the Academists to use orphans as guinea pigs.
Oh yeah, and Imogen's been snatched by the Spirits and will probably score a super-powered form like Tammy and Street...

Double post, because...
Kadi's been teasing the cover of Chapter 8 just now.
(Btw, she's still going through some health issues, so let's not bug her.)
Blindsprings returns with a vengeance near the end of October this year!
Steel yourselves, everyone...
Oh, and remember the package Tammy had in Chapter 6? Turns out the package was just clothes, nothing important.
I just now got wind of it.
Yay!
HiAka, it's back baby!
Also, if you're supporting Kadi's Patreon, you get to see the next page before everyone else!

New page:
"If there's something I need to know, I need to know it."
Like how my daughter has been missing school again because of something no one would know about like, oh I don't know, being taken by creepy snake spirits in the laundry room!
So, a Shotgun Wedding?
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."According to the comments there seems to be a bearded man hiding in Lottie's eyes.
