The art is very nice. I wonder where the story's going.

I didn't write any of that.

They have my interest at "cute redhead with curly hair", but yeah, the plot is moving slowly.

I wonder whether Tamaura(?) is the protected one, or the tithe.

Or if the contract is referring to someone else entirely.

Good news, Harris is back!

And the plot is starting to get interesting with him stealing Tammy away from the spirits and taking her out the forest.

Oh and he's a bishie now!

I consider that the opposite of good news. He's seemed pretty antagonistic in his recent appearances.

I recently discovered this webcomic myself, and I'm loving it: what we've seen of the setting, the magic, the spirits and the characters all have me very interested, and the art is lovely. ^_^

(... Right now I'm hoping to see the spirits return and attempt to reclaim the young lady — barring revelations of ill intent or action on their part.)

I don't think that we're to take it that he's centuries-old; my impression was that only the girl was (by virtue of her position in what seems to have been an otherworld).

I read his lines in the final panel as, more or less: "Welcome to Kirkhall, which is my home. It's also your home, albeit that you've been away for nearly three hundred years."

I believe it's been inferred that a lot of timeskips are happening, and that Tammy doesn't seem to age. (Whether that means time is sort of frozen where Tammy is, or if it's a trait unique to her, or something else, I have no idea.)

Does anyone else think it's a bit sad that Harris seemed to be this sweet boy when we first saw him, but he becomes more and more of a douchebag every time he shows up?

Kirkhall looks... more modern than I'd expected.

As much as I might disagree with him, I'll grant him that I do think that he's doing what he believes to be right: I get the impression that he feels that Tammy has been wrongfully imprisoned by the spirits.

That said, he has that impression because he didn't pay attention to Tammy, to what she said and how she acted and reacted, I fear: he formed an impression — perhaps informed by what he had been taught — and then proceeded to ignore evidence to the contrary.

Uh, wasn't she given to the spirits as a baby in the first pages?

Edit: I think the spirits deceived her about how long she was supposed to stay in the forest. Like, say, "until adulthood" with eternal youth...

I don't think she was given to the spirits as a baby. I think she made the contract with them to keep her sister safe when she was 12 and then her aging was stopped from that day on.

I just wanna how she will react at being in the city, how people will react at her being the girl in the forest from the fable and what's going on with the tattoo in her arm!

Also, I think this comic deserves a page, who's with me?

I'm inclined to think (hope...) that spirits aren't that easy to permanently destroy...
