The Build Burning Gundam better preform a Sekiha Tenkyoken during the show or else it'll be really missing a golden opportunity.

Too true. Hence my hope in Sekai hamming it up.

That seven year timeskip though. If and when we see Sei and China again, they're already adults. That said, I want to see if Caro-chan followed through on with Nils. XD

Wouldn't happen. Japanese idols do not have physiological functions like pregnancy.

Basically the way the Japanese entertainment industry works, Kirara would have to stop being an idol. She either retires, or goes into another segment of the industry less critical of relationships, like drama.

If she's STILL an idol by Build Fighters 2, then either her and Fellini didn't work out, or she's keeping her personal affairs really REALLY under-the-hood (surprise children aren't unheard of even in Japan).

Idols are given hell if they're found out to be going out with someone (sometimes even if they're suspected to have a relationship, even if it's not true).

It is entirely possible that she's no longer an idol due to her age. Even in the first season, she was already approaching her expiration date rapidly. Add in the timeskip and she's definitely a goner now.

I got my Shining and God HG Gunpla in front of me and Build Burning looks NOTHING like either of them.

apparently it's not supposed to be based on them and it's supposed to be an original or something. it's very likely the name is a coincidence and the guys back at japan didn't even know about the God's name change in the US

No, yeah, it really looks more like the Strike.

what's funny and makes me doubt if the guys back at japan don't know about about the God being renamed Burning Gundam in the G Gundam dub is that the MC of Build Fighters Try is a martial artist, just like Domon.

Well the guy apparently will be using martial arts with it.

So we'll just have to wait and see what he does with the unit.

There are images of model kits with it with a burning fiery circle behind it (I don't know what it's called) so it's definitely at least G Gundam inspired.

I was thinking less of a kid and more along the lines of him being Reiji himself whilst bearing a fake name and backstory. Reiji is an alien after all so he could easily be aging slower. Only issue I'm seeing is that there would be no explanation for why Aila isn't with him or why he hasn't met up with the others but that can be worked around if the writers tried hard enough.

Lightning is apparently based on the Re-Gz. Which is based on the zeta. So it has come full circle.

And um. Winning.

Of course, we still has the issue of who might be the series villain. Having another corrupt tournament executive might be stretching it.

Yet we have a certain four-eyes who would make a wonderful "fall from grace" story in those seven years.

Here's a preview the high grade of the Build Burning. Now it definitely looks like a homage to the Burning Gundam (the whole back ring thing).

That is ridiculously awesome. Every part of this is awesome except come ON. Girls like balls out awesome gunpla too, you know. Not just cute ones. Or ones in pastels.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. She's got more experience in Gunpla based on her character bio so there must be a reason why she went with an SD. We may be surprised.
