I like him, a scientist who uses the new technology to his advantage and almost fully comprehends it will be a little smug. I'm not sure a pure melee suit will hold up long in a tournament, though.

Also, G-Saviour is totally canon now.

It also makes sense why he can use Plavisky Particles so well. He has PhDs in energy and particles.

I like him so far. He'll probably get beaten by Sei and Reiji to make him experience a love for Gunpla, because otherwise he doesn't seem interested.

I just like that he's lampshading Reed Richards Is Useless and seems interested in actually using this revolutionary new technology. That means his story arc will likely give us some answers, and I like being given anawers.

I just hate the whole "OH IM 13 YEARS OLD BUT I HAVE LIKE A GAZILLION IQ AND 3 PHDS AND IM SO SMART BUT IM ALSO A PERFECT BATTLER AND MODEL MAKER DESPITE NOT REALLY CARING FOR GUNDAM TOO LOOK HOW GREAT I AM."

Why? He is right.

I don't like Episode 8 that much. I don't know why. I liked Devil Gundam appeared and the fight scenes though.

You know, I actually thought that G-Saviour is F-91. Yeah, I'm so stupid.

I didn't like it much ether. I like the Sengoku Astray but they turned its Op into a Mary Sue giant tool.

I don't much care for Aila ether.

Aila, she is a MARIE/SOMA.

Also, it amuses me that a G-Saviour appeared after I saw a post on Tumblr where someone said they wanted a Canadian guy to appear with an obscure Gunpla of the G-Saviour. Also, that Devil Gundam fight was cool.

I will admit that I was sad to see a Tallgeese get its ass kicked. Bet that Ricardo is going to get revenge if he ends up fighting Nils.

Like the Sengoku Astray (the Astray R manga was always one of my faves). The operator seems interesting. Wanna see where they're going with him.

I kinda want an Arabic champ controlling a custom Exia though. That would be an interesting match against the protagonist.

Don't forget his arena entrance: hiding in a cardboard box with "GUNDAM" scrawled onto it in black marker on the front, and a GN Drive drawn in the back. Also, when he's ready to Gunpla battle, he stands up and reveals that the cardboard box is also his costume.

Finally, he constantly spouts lines about him being Gunpla.

Near as I can tell, he's mixed-race American.

Nah, that would be 'too obvious'. The alledged Arabic champ would be wearing a scarf (like a certain Meijin with the shades), and when the fight begins, he spouts "Ore wa Gunpla da!"

He's definitely black or mixed, I think the Scandinavian joke was in reference to "Nielsen". If I had to guess I'd assume it's a case of As Long as It Sounds Foreign. Though it's not like Gundam doesn't have a history of really ridiculous names.

So, we have a dark-skinned American of possible Scandinavian descent, who is like 12 years old and is a Gunpla-battling scientist trained in the ways of the samurai.

I wanted him to use that Hyaku Shiki....:(

They need to introduce more gunpla.

But I do wonder how crazy the world championship will be like, since the apsalus with it's cannon and shields didn't make it.

I expected the devil gundam to change forms, but that would be silly.

Stock machines aren't likely going to make the cut, if at all. Every world tourney participant (which I suspect) uses OC Mobile Suits, aka self builds. Aila's machine looks like Granzon, if I may add.

I'm hoping that it's going to be a showdown between Nils and Ricardo. Which will show Fellini using all of his skill to overcome the tech advantage the Astray has over the Fenice Wing.

It does feel like they are setting it up to that, huh?

I hope he kicks that smug brat's butt.

I would laugh if it were the other way around. This series likes to troll expectations, something I truly like about it.

So I wonder if someone will pilot a version of Turn A Gundam...

I'm kind of miffed at Nielsen and Aila, but I suppose I'll warm up to them like I did with Reiji. Nielsen at least is researching the Plavsky particles, an endeavor I can get behind. Plus his fight with Greco was cool, though that's more because Greco was awesome.
