Organ music is cool. You should do that.
I can compose just fine, but despite my being a lifelong musician, I don't get any real "expression" out of instrumental music. And I'm not a very good lyricist — again, because I have no real life experiences from which to draw a song.
But I did wake up this morning with a few lines of dialogue in my head that sounded like they'd fit the webcomic...
Who cares about expression? Just make something that sounds pretty. Expression is overrated.
Getting back to the earlier topic, I did have some lines for the webcomic enter my head. I guess I shouldn't drive myself insane trying to find good "hooks" for a workplace setting, since that's only half of it (the rest being domestic life).
Eh, I haven't done much with my life either so what really gets me going is other media, and studying history and science... but... I mean, if none of that interests you you're kind of fucked.
Have you tried creative things other than writing? Like maybe drawing or designing or something?
