It's not, it works fine but Eddie didn't have the best reasoning for removing it in the first place seeing as any trio grouping will have the same issue to someone. This is why you don't let one person decide by fiat.
Nothing about that image said "trio" to anybody, as has been stated here several times.
I agree that just an image of one trio won't sell it. It should be a collage.

Wouldn't that make the image look cluttered? Also, I don't believe that multiple pictures of different trios would really say anything other than the fact that there are more than one PowerTrios in the fiction world, a point which is frankly meaningless.
Really though, I'm currently uncertain as what qualifies as a "trio", if an image of three characters visibly working together is somehow not sufficient.

I'm gonna have to agree, I got "trio" better from the Fire Ferrets than Charlie's Angels. Three Stooges and Huey/Duey/Louie are good, though.

I have to admit, the Angels could be removed from that and it would improve it. At least with the other three you can see interaction/similarities that establish their being a trio; that pic of the Angels is pure JAFAAC material.
I agree with Willbyr. The Angles is distracting. The Three Musketeers would be better.
