Heroes of the Storm - Blizzard MOBA

One of Zul'jin's poke quotes is about getting his armor from 'Amani Exchange'.

It was meant to be a spoof for '(Giorgio) Armani Exchange'.

What crosses my mind is Zul'jin being the guy who's like "Dis armor's like, officially, it's a Zul'zul Amani, ech, my trolls dey 'now 'im."

Then enemies were like "FUCK YOU."

Then Zul'jin activates his ultimate being like "I AIIIIIIIIIN'T HAVIN' THAT SHIT!"

All these Zul'jins running around at low health makes me a very happy Zeratul main.

I can only imagine how the Nova players feel. (Either gleeful as they rack up kills, or annoyed as their shots get Taz'Dingoed to ineffectiveness.)

Wait... Zul'jin has an ultimate ability that does more damage the less health he does...

I can't believe I didn't see it up until now!

Uh that was a common place amongst MOBA. Are you saying that Huskar, Tryndamere, Olaf are Frog too?

I'll admit I'm not not that well versed in MOBAs in general, and HOTS is currently the only one I play.

I just found the similarities funny since Frog's Frog Squash ability in CT is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of such abilities.

That, and... uh... they're both green, so that makes my point completely valid!

I dunno about you guys going to whine that there's gonna be another Warcraft Assassin hero, but take it with a grain of salt when it was leaked that the next hero...

Is going to be Valeera Sanguinar.

Let's face it, Valeera is a Hearthstone rep more than she is a Warcraft one.

Yep. Apart from the Varian comics she only showed up for a short moment in the Wrath pre-event and it took until Legion for her to get a bigger role.

So you're saying her trait will probably involve equipping daggers?

I don't think her role was that bigger in Legion. Aside of a few quests in Rogue Class Hall, what else did she do, kill a major Dreadlord?

Though I will still say that Valeera is still quite the WC hero, she debuted in the same places as Rehgar and Varian. If you want a Hearthstone hero, you're probably looking at someone like Reno Jackson or any of the head gang of the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan.

I hope it's not her. I'll take Garona over her. It's part of the reason I don't play rogue in Hearthstone, the chosen character is barely a character.

Surprised that there's no Diablo characters to go with the anniversary event. Now would have been the time for Cain—he stands in the center of the map and whoever stops "teh l33t pvp" long enough to listen to him wins the game.

She does have a character, it's just that most of them are contained within the comics. Valeera actually gets really snappy when things don't go her way, considering she's like Artanis in the way of blood elves: She looks like a sex bomb, but she's like a child for blood elf standards. Because of this, she really struggles about the fel addiction that inflicted blood elves in general. Over time, she learned to get better and value the friendship with Varian and Broll, and improve her skills as a sneaky rogue. If you go by just her Hearthstone portrayal, you'd be surprised with how she acted like in the comics, she was tons more impulsive.

I guess her Hearthstone portrayals is more about her 'already more matured' side, and it carries over in Legion... where she never seems to be able to sit on chairs properly, preferring to sit on the chair's back, not the proper seat.

Double post but Blizzard sure isn't as subtle as other Rogues.

So it's confirmed, Valeera's going to be Assassination or Outlaw spec.

While I'm interested to see how Valeera plays, all we've been getting lately are Assassin class heroes. I mean, look at how many Assassins there are compared to all the other classes! This game needs more Supports and Specialists, and it needs them five weeks ago!

And a few new heroes from franchises other than Warcraft would be nice, too.

Well the leaker said that after Valeera, it's gonna be a non-WC Support.

Would have been nice to get a Diablo hero for that franchise's anniversary.

Sure, or the Amazon, or one of the remaining Prime Evils.

I was saying whoever from the Diablo series that has capabilities of being Support...

Oh, I was actually thinking that we should have had a Diablo hero in Zul'jin's slot; the anniversary was Dec. 31. But yes, If we got a Diablo support it would probably be the paladin, maybe with a choice of auras at one of his talent tiers (like Khara's Spirit Allies and Varian's Banners).

If that's true, i would love someone from Overwatch. I guess Zenyatta or Ana would be a cool addition
