So... Rexxar is after Johanna, or it's just a guessing based on who's already got their models unveiled?
Personally though, Rexxar CAN have more than summon animals. He can take tips from Dota's Beastmaster...
I'm just hoping and speculating about his presence.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about. So I managed to get better with ETC, and now he's my second hero that I bought.
He's fun.
EDIT: You know who I'd like to see as a hero? Kel'thuzad. Y'know, as a Squishy Wizard, Scourge-summoning version of Az'modan or Zagara.

Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.Carbots, the guy who does Star Crafts, has a new bit for Hots - and the name and numbering suggests it's part of a new series on top of all the other stuff he's already got going.
I don't seem to get or like Azmodan. Last hitting minions with his Q seems pretty difficult and his "Spam minions forever" seems woefully ineffective to kill anything or anyone.
I rather stick to Diablo
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesIt might help if you remember that 'Last Hitting' isn't a thing in Heroes. You don't even need to do any damage to an enemy, you still get the XP so long as you're close enough when they die.
I am refering to the first talent for his Q. It requires last-hitting. With that ability. It is not like Seasoned Marksman or something else.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesKeep in mind that his role is basically a walking, talking siege tank. (As opposed to Sgt. Hammer, who is a siege tank.)
If you get the second-tier talent that boosts the strength of minions that you use your D on, you can actually use it as a soft "split push". Keep in mind that his D is global.
But yeah, I'd hang around mid, fireball when you can, use D on CD, push when your team pushes, grab the talent that lets you walk and beam, and make sure to beam anyone that overextends themselves (like an Illidan that backflips directly into the middle of your team.)
I'd get the talent that increases its damage based on range, instead, personally. But that's just me.

Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.Yeah, the increased damage on range is usually much better, particularly since it gets more effective when you're dunking fleeing heroes.
Our next hero is The Butcher from Diablo, and it comes with Diablo-based map Battle of Eternity.
I hope the complainers that say this is too much Warcraft will shut up.
Based directly on Diablo?
So that's a first, having a map directly from a franchise.
Also am kinda surprised that there's no futuristic map considering how many gun-toting, rocket-firing, mech-wielding, laser-spewing guys we have at this point.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about. They're gonna save it for a future Starcraft-based map.
For a starcraft map I could imagine something like that Wings of liberty map where you had high and low areas with the latter getting flooded with lava from time to time.
As a whole, I'd prefer to explore this crazy multiverse than to just have maps from the franchises. I'd rather see that crazy Neo Tristram that has a nuclear plant and a Kaiju problem or the Candy Mountain that King Kandy Mauradin rules than Tarsonis or Alterac Valley.

"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984A kaiju nuclear power plant map does sound like it could be pretty awesome.
Ohhhh when you're down and looking for some cheering up. head on up, right on up, to the Candy Mountain Cave...
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothes"It's a wonderland of sweets!"
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984The minions could be little candy pieces and the merc camps could be made of gingerbread.
My one condition for that map is that there being a place on said map where you can see candy karts racing in the background.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)I've always wanted to see a Starcraft-style space platform floating in the Twisting Nether... or rather, the Nexus equivalents of both.
Is the coming battlefield actually a place from Diablo, or is it just inspired by the series's themes?
Blizzard also noted that they're now entering 'Diablo session', meaning that for awhile, it'll be adding more things on Diablo, not just that map and Butcher, but more Diablo stuffs. I wonder if this means, aside of Leoric, there'll also be more PC representatives?
That said... if they're including Wizard... male or female?
(Also I think one of their new skins offered will be a butt-naked Tychus)
They cut him out of the armour.
Except for the codpiece, of course.
Gotta say, I'm not a fan of the "Play 2 quests as a hero from X universe" quests.
I don't hate them, but I don't like them. I don't own any Diablo heroes, and Tyrael isn't that fun to play. Also don't care for Raynor that much even though I have the most games played with him, since I don't feel like I do good with him.

Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.I'd recommend getting Valla for those. She's cheap and fairly easy to use.
Probably a bit more interesting than "I have 3 pets which autoattack things."
