The Virgin or Capcom game?
Signatures are for lamers.I wonder if they'd try to buy a record label,if just to push their teen pop stars further.
Disney did not buy Lucas arts because it had a bunch of stories it wanted to tell that would make use of its revolutionary imaging, nor was it interested in the wealth of properties it could gain beyond Star Wars. Disney did not have a new vision for comic book world, it just wanted revenue from Marvel's characters. If they must have a game company let them have EA or Square.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackDisney owning Square Enix could do wondrous things for the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
But that's a story for another time. But that would mean a Tomb raider sequel wouldn't be possible.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceThey've already got Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and their other original properties. They'd just need to buy Nintendo and Harry Potter and they'd have my entire childhood.
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]What else could be done with Harry Potter?
For one, Warner Brother owns the adaptation rights to Harry Potter. They certainly won't give up control easily.
And two, JKR didn't want the rights in the hands of Disney from the get go, and she especially never wanted an animated adaptation. Which I think is a shame, because Harry Potter is imho made for a well made, serious animated series. But either way, she well never sell the rights to Disney as long as she made the decision. And since Harry Potter is a trademark, the books will never be in the free domain, so to speak. Unless one of JKR heirs decides to sell in a far off future, it will never happen.
I can easily imagine Harry Potter as a cheesy Disney Channel Original Movie. Just imagine what flavor-of-the-month Disney Channel actors they'd throw into it.
Square-Enix.
Might actually be good for them to be acquired at this point.
YES! They should acquire both Square-Enix and Ubisoft, that way we can have a crossover betw-SHOT
Signatures are for lamers.Ubisoft is even less stagnant that Nintendo on the software front so...no. They do not have many obvious merchandising baits besides the Rabbids anyway.

Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackBut the Rabbids are the main reason Disney in fact SHOULD buy over Ubisoft.
Signatures are for lamers. One property doesn't justify buying out a whole company, unless the company is built around that property.
DHX Media might be a good purchase for their television channels.
Never gonna happen due to OMGDEMONS and slight to middling obscurity, but I'd enjoy Disney acquiring Nippon Ichi, if they left well enough alone, if mostly for a movie or a decently animated series.
Technically, the company runs on just rabbids. All their other franchises, even Assassin's Creed, aren't running that hot. Heck, I don't know if Watch Dogs can change it up. Perhaps if they release a new Beyond Good & Evil finally, or a new Rayman, *maybe* a new Prince of Persia game that's going back to its roots, but yeah, the rabbids are all they got.
And yes, I was being sarcastic by naming all these franchises Ubisoft has, like Assassin's Creed, Just Dance, Rayman, Prince of Persia, Rayman, Splinter Cell, Might and Magic, Far Cry, Anno, anything originating from Blue Byte, and perhaps Beyond Good & Evil. Just to name a few. But hey, perhaps those aren't good enough, right?
Signatures are for lamers.Ubisoft needs their asses kicked for being so damn lazy - They deserve to be invaded by a place like the Mouse House...
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.wrong topic

Defeat accepted. But I can't help but wonder what if Disney did buy these guys out now...
Carry on as you guys were - As far as I'm concerned, I'll ponder it by myself.

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.@swanpride: I know, man. It was just an observation, saying that they've bought out so much of my childhood that they have only a few more boxes to tick off. I wasn't at all offering those as actual possibilities.
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]Two decades ago, everything you see in American media were owned by hundreds of major corporations.
This year, they are all owned by six.
Will these six buy each other out??? If so, who will be the last standing!?

Sad but true. Also, they should make an Aladin remastered video game.
