i remember when the show came out; i thought i was pretty good. i enjoyed it, at least.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.I only recall it for getting dropped like a hot potato from CN's rerun rotation after its cancellation, which is unique for a network that has a whole second network to dump old shows onto.
yeah Im thinking since the show was only made to milk off the popularity of the singers of the teen titans theme, it would soon become irrelevant and most people wouldn't realize who the hell puffy amiyumi are...I still hope it comes back in some shape or form there was a rumor it's coming to Cartoon planet in 2014

"Any tree can drop an apple, I'll drop the freaking moon"Huge fan of this show mostly due to the art direction. And cause I was at the top of my weeaboo stage at the time but...whatever. Admittedly, the writing itself was never all that great, but it hit its stride at times and I liked how it wasn't afraid to act like classic slapstick.
Don't mind me. I'm just a creepy little lurker.I was embarrased to watch it with anyone else in the room when it first came out. I really wish they'd show classic episodes of it on Cartoon Planet.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justicesurprisingly me and my brother loved to watch it but my sister hated it and we were actually embarrassed to watch it around her. Nowadays I'm just like who gives a fuck? Two rock n roll chicks misadventures? Better then watching anything on MTV LMAO
"Any tree can drop an apple, I'll drop the freaking moon"In all things considered, when it was Westernized, they did do normal cartoon things that you'd supprisingly see in an MTV cartoon.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceLike what?
"Any tree can drop an apple, I'll drop the freaking moon"One had ami buy cursed drumsticks, which turned her into a badass. Then there was one where the girls filled in for football players. All things that Bevis And Butt Head could have easily done, too.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceHaha true true I loved the variety the show had. It was clearly unique
"Any tree can drop an apple, I'll drop the freaking moon"Fun show. Not perfect, but still fun.
On my wave, passing oooooooonI liked it.
Don't Press Your Luck too many times in life. You'll just get whammied.I loved it. My favorite characters were the main trio (Ami, Yumi, and Kaz). I loved the aesops given at the end of the episodes.
Eh, I liked the show when it was on, but in hindsight, it was very meh. Loved the music, though.
(Personally, though I liked the music the band contributed to Teen Titans better, though )
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.It was all right. A bit trying too hard at times, but Ami and Yumi were pretty likable. They could have done better to make Kaz more likable. Also, I think voice actors for Ami and Kaz actually speak Japanese (they helped Yumi's actress out), so that's a plus.
If I recall correctly, they were Tara Strong and Grey Delisle, right?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. No, it was Janice Kawaye for Ami.

Ah, right! That was during that one brief period when she was actually a kinda prolific voice actor in tons of cartoons, wasn't it? She been in anything of note lately?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I think her most recent role was Class of 3000, which (I think)ended in February 2008. Shame...
On my wave, passing oooooooonI think she's also in Young Justice.
boop I'm more active on hereI could have sworn Tara Strong voiced somebody on HHPAY....even if it was a minor role
"Any tree can drop an apple, I'll drop the freaking moon"This show was awesome!

What do you guys think of this show? IMO I don't think it deserved all the hate it's gotten when it came out outside of its "Tastes Like Diabetes" looks it was really addicting to watch and felt like a mix of modern day vs classic cartoons thing going on.
