Aw, no hint for Season 3? Does this mean it's taking a break for the light novel to get some breathing room, or some sort?

So they are going to do Project Apollo Redux NASA-less edition. My earlier speculation back in S1 was correct, plus they did stick the revival spot on Mare Tranquillitatis. Again, poor NA server players.

But it wouldn't be at least a year before we see that.

If I'm not mistaken, we've pretty much caught up to the LN, so it'll likely be a couple years or so before we get a third season.

We're actually ahead of the LN, I think.

Specifically, we're ahead of what's actually down and printed — most of the material from the final episode drew from the unedited web version that Mamare releases directly to his website.

Oh, and it's interesting how Kanami mentions that her daughter is three years old, which is the exact span of time since she left for Europe. This in itself has interesting implications, as Indicus blames Shiroe for Kanami leaving, by the way, and Mamare is doing the same "nod nod wink wink" on Twitter that he did before he revealed where Krusty REALLY was. Implications being, Shiroe is the dad of Kanami's kid.

The intent was that her name was taken from the Bengal Fox (Canis Indicus).

Personally I was a little miffed about how Ga-Chan (the Garnet Dragon raid boss now moonlighting as loli) never got any voiced lines◊, nor how NONE of the DDD members of the Shibuya raid (Rieze, the fanfiction trio) didn't upbraid their runaway Drei Klauen commander...

If anything, Isaac would be pissed, but not because he's a carpenter.

Only in an anime does a show end with "READ THE NOVEL."

Still fun.

I don't think it's a huge deal in this case, as the pre-edit chapters for any future book gets posted by Mamare on his website anyway.

Finale:

• Sorry, Mr. Taliktan, but no one feels like sleeping right now. What with all the attack-calling, combination attacks, and good strategy flying about.
• It was quite fitting for Shiroe, Akatsuki, and Naotsugu to land the finishing blow. They were the first three characters introduced, after all.
• Demikas, it's impolite to drool through your eyes, you know?
• Alright, they did it. Moon contact is now possible! ...Wait, that voice... Hey, Kanami! How'd ya get on the moon? You were in China last time I saw ya... ...Wait a minute...
• And Kanami only made contact because "Hey, that looks interesting!" So like her.
• Oh. I guess that's why she stopped playing for a while... Heh, Kanami's a mom. And Shiroe knew that. I liked their talk. Quite heartwarming.
• Shiroe the Bus Guide. Har! Anyway, that's one hefty quest you're taking on, Log Horizon, but you'll be fine. Traveling between two worlds freely is always the best choice!
• OH! So you're with Kanami and pals, huh, Krusty? Good thing you're also holding on to Misa's arm tightly. ...But, you might wanna prepare yourself for a Lenessia-style scolding when you get back.
• Indicus also pushed up her glasses. A villainous trademark, sure. But I just scoffed at hers. And she hates Shiroe for some reason.
• Roe 2's also contributing to the effort. Can't let her siblings down, after all.
• ...A giraffe and alligator clash. That's unusual. But more importantly, that face Akatsuki made...

Yeah, especially with people spreading it around when they hear it.

Well, he was charged for tax fraud. I'm not sure how privacy laws work with regard to that.

Tax evasion from a LN author know for works heavy with Economics? The irony. :P

Like that isn't a joke everyone has made. XD

It's kind of unfortunate for us, since this may have an effect on the novels.
