Empathium is something both the Geniuses and the Fools want, except they go about "collecting" it differently.
Episode 20:
- Londark's another one who's tired of being dragged around in this world. He needed a time-out. It sure...grinded his gears.
- Mizufa wants to watch the world burn. Because that's her idea of entertainment.
- Nyanta sure had a bad day...
- Over the course of this season, people reflected on how much jerk they were exuding without a second thought. Nureha's the latest. And now, she's a better...bad guy?
- Even if things are grim, Isuzu will sing. Now can it and listen to her song!

Episode 20. In which the lark sings.
Yes, it's been a long time since we saw Nyanta in action. Bit of a shame that he's probably the least well-drawn character in this adaptation.
Does that count as a magical version of Offhand Backhand?
That tail looks weird with that hair and those ears.
Her skipping is probably the second highlight of the episode. Well, chronologically first, but the second best moment.
This is a rather disjointed episode.

Check out my fanfiction!I think it's important to point out that, despite Touya's observations on Dariella/Nureha coming completely from his own musings, Nureha STILL rationalizes it to be somehow Shiroe's influence. While there's a kernel of truth there (Shiroe's guidance is a thing after all), she totally offshoots in this case. Shows just how broken she is, really.
If there's some truth to it, it's usually a reasonable assumption. And it's not like she can read his mind to know where he gets it from.
Check out my fanfiction!Episode 21: How to enrage a harem in a single sentence.
Episode 21. In which they return.
Events like that are fun, as long as they happen in games. They're usually not very likely to happen in MMOs, though, unless there's an expansion.
I'm curious about that letter. I suspect that's somewhat intended.
Guys being guys. And Rudy being Rudy. I like that part of him.
Is that also Rudy? With maybe a little less charm? And somehow, I'm reminded of Mii.
Shorts, short-sleeved shirt, and a scarf. Somehow that just doesn't look too well.
He really got that purple glow right.
Or maybe with more charm. To them, anyway,
Someone has her target set and won't change it for anything.
He saw someone scary.
Camus makes me think of a snake for some strange reason.
Few problems can't be solved by a punch to the face.
I think he said something there he shouldn't have said. Jealousy is a terrible thing.
"Even Rudy." A little harsh there, are we?
The gift that keeps on giving. And I'm actually saying that nonironically.
Aka, I think your face is a little stuck.
Check out my fanfiction!I just watched this in two days. Good stuff.
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson. It's somewhat implied that Camus has abducted more than just a couple of girls.
I wonder what happened to them? Taking Roe2's words into consideration, I suppose we can assume that Camus isn't assembling a brainwashed army of female adventurers (plus the two members of Souji's guild he hypnotised didn't fight for him, so...). Would that mean then that they are being held somewhere, in some kind of Empathion farm?
Well that's one way to discover a Genius monster.
What could be in the letter?
Is it true they're doing volume ten this season? Because if so that's bullshit that they didn't go back and expand on volume nine.
Episode 21:
- Roe 2 and Nureha have left the party.
- They might not have saved the town, but their impact on the world at large won't be forgotten. Okay, Isuzu's song did most of the lifting, but still.
- The Akiba Depression's drawing ever closer.
- One Genius of a lady-killer. Not so much of a Genius the moment he hit on Souji though.
- Did they get home by griffon? Then that griffon had enough capacity to hold everyone.
- What's Roe 2's message to Roe 1 gonna reveal~?
Episode 22. In which there's a letter.
"Hello world." Okay, that's an awesome start. She manages to say quite a bit about herself without actually revealing exactly what she is.
Awfully proud to not knowing anything. Which is strange, coming from a spy. I wonder if she's relegated to comic relief now.
So they were related. Well, it's not like it's a common hair colour.
The Mocking of Isaac.
Aka doesn't need pop-in bubbles to appear for random comments. She just needs the top of the screen.
Such a glorious Source Vessel.
Is Air Glasses a canonical, in-game emote?
She has her favourite food.
That's a little more impressive than doing the same with Nao.
Cute and awkward. And she probably does more for him than she realises.
Well, technically, she's good at becoming one with people.
Older members. And Tetra.
"I wish."
"Hmm?!"
I found that strangely amusing.
Well, not entirely surprising. And that's a lot of exposition, but entirely reasonable. Feels like a well-needed kick in the gears.
Check out my fanfiction! It's not like you can keep her out. Even if you converted the room into its own zone and set a blacklist preventing her from entering, she'd just pop out of someone's clothes without explanation.
Episode 22:
- The Roes are related. In a sense.
- Akatsuki lent a helping hand in spirit.
- Geniuses of Chaos and the Almighty Source Vessel!
- Ah, so that's Lenessia's kid brother? Should've known through the colour of his hair. And Issac was powerless. Funny.
- Serara will continue to do her best!
- An important meeting's taking place. And since there's no plausible way to stop her advances, Tetra was present.
- These players have questions that need answering. The ones who have the answer are on the Moon. ...The programmers of this world?
Tetra is considered a "grown-up" in their group simply by virtue of being high level. Joining later or acting childish have no bearing on the almighty importance of Level in determining maturity. Sub-90 = kid = they have to sit out when the grown-ups talk.
That's not how it works. Minori-tachi sits out because they are literally children. You can best believe that if Akatsuki or any of the other older characters were low leveled that they would still be allowed into the meeting.
So, would someone like Lene be allowed there? She's rather low level. And also not an adventurer, so it's probably different anyway.
Check out my fanfiction!Raynesia. Lenesia. However you want to spell it.
Oh. Neet/Lazy princess. I doubt she'd be allowed in a meeting that doesn't have to do with her? She's not really an adult herself after all.
That, and she has no real interest in dealing with poilitics anyway since she is Modest Royalty.
These two may literally be more bark than bite, but they are no less tenacious than everyone else.
Episode 19:
Hm, Roe 2 said something about Empathium being for the Genius Class. Does this mean the Genius class gets more power from their memories?
