Only two gates. Heaven and Hell. Heaven's gate is gone. So yeah Tokyo.

Well I guess aside from the Syndicate and EPR, any external intelligence agency/underground anti-Syndicate/Contractor group can come into play.

Or maybe the new gate discovered at the end of Gemini. Or not.

I'd like a game where a team of marines and scientists are sent into, or wake up to find themselves aboard a spooky derelict ship that harbors some dangerous alien presence. Powered armor, gene-splicing, and bionics abound.

I am working on a idea similar to that. In simplest terms a bunch of characters wake up from Cryosleep and now must try to survive deep space, build new spaceships and avoid The Empire while trying to make it to Humanity's new home.

That's too ambitious. I'm more interested in a contained game in a creepy environment.

Ambitious maybe. But hey it's what I want to do. There will be 3 playable "races" of sorts.

I'll likely join almost anything sci-fi or fantasy themed. But if posting rate/interest levels are too low I'm liable to randomly disappear.

Ah. Well good to hear. Sometime tonight I will have a signup page for that Space Opera one.

I can confirm the races are Human, Cyborg, and Android. Each with their own effects, and a D10 system for combat and events.

Well, my attempt at making a Kingdom Hearts RP sunk like a brick (to be fair, it was pretty lame), so I'd be interested in any Kingdom Hearts RP, especially if canon characters are allowed. I call dibs on Xion.

I've just noticed that it seems like things are really serious these days. I mean, there haven't been any of those old "monster/magic academy" things in ages.

Really? If you think the R Ps are this site are super duper serious you just haven't been looking at them all lol

It seemed to me that most of those magical academy things were most of the time crewed by a certain quartet, and were pretty short-lived affairs when they inevitably lost interest a couple weeks in.

So really, there weren't ever many healthy games of that type.

What about an RP that would be a massive multiplayer crossover. The only major difference would be that instead of writing what happens. We draw/doodle it! and post a link.
